Good bloke, makes some fine saves, but always likely to make a ricket and the kind of keeper you shut your eyes when a ball get's lofted into the box. As I say, fine to cover odd games but not someone to install confidence in fans or the back 4.

The same can be said for most keepers and let's be honest, Tibo has made a fair few rickets this season. The difference being that whilst Caballero seems quite happy to be here, Courtouis seems the opposite, and has done for some time. I'm fed up with hearing about his comments to the overseas press practically every time he leaves the Chelsea camp.

Loyalty works both ways. Cahill and Willian would give their lives for Chelsea yet most fans would at best not be arsed if we sold them. Ultimately football is a business and everyone involved has a one track mind, the most loyal in most cases tends to be whoever needs the other the most.

Arsenal and Leicester, also made a couple of decent saves vs Palace, your realize how good we had it when he goes.

Man Utd - Romero

Liverpool - Karius / Mignolet

Tottenham - Vorm 

Arsenal - Ospina

The only good one there is Romero. Are any of the rest really any better than Caballero? I wouldn't be choosing any of them to replace Caballero that's for sure. 

 

Of topic a bit, but what is Romero still doing at United? He could be number one goalkeeper for a lot of top teams, he's wasting his career at United.

I think Ospina is quite good.

I don't think he has earned his money this season, not making enough big saves to getting us points. To be honest, I don't know why would Real be interested in him, their GK is a better option right now. It makes sense if we manage to get a GK swap deal done with Atleitco

Not really. It just shows Willy is not a good no.1 . Would not be worried if we go into the next season with willy as our no.2 again. Would definitely be worried if we go into the next season with Tibo as our no.1 and no contract extension. The club should ask him to sign now, or sell him to the highest bidder.

What if he doesn't want to sign but doesn't want to go this summer? He has already said he will be here next season, so I don't think we will be able to cash in.

He cant have his cake and eat it too. The club has to put its foot down. Letting Tibo and Hazard go into the 2019-2020 season with just 1 year in their contracts would be grave mistakes. We must be looking at transfer losses of about 50mil pounds at least. 

The player can do what he likes but I am sure the club will do what they feel is right, and we should adamantly aim for it.

Other than sign another keeper and bench Courtois, which would no doubt cause unrest in the squad, there's nothing we can do if he wants to run his contract down. 

If he doesn't want to extend, it would be great to get some money for him, but if we can't, we are best trying to get 1 more good season out of him, and work on getting his replacement in for next summer imo.

Would argue only De Gea is better.

Lloris has been poor for a while.

Cech is done.

Do Liverpool even have a number 1?

Too early to make a call on Ederson as he's had f* all to do all season. Made some good saves against us though.

The first and third goals from Willy were ameutuer hour, im guessing i brought it up because their seems to be a lot of calls for him to be number 1 and he would be a disaster.

Maybe, but none were close to being as bad as the one's Willy let in, i would expect an outfielder covering in goal to save two of those goals vs Spurs.

Is it? out of all the first choice keepers in the top 6 (can't be arsed to research any further) Mignolet's done it only twice for both Sunderland and Liverpool, Cech only once since he arrived in England 14 years ago, De Gea has never done it (although looks likely to this season), Lloris has never done it for either Lyon or Spurs and Ederson so far hasn't done it at any club as of yet either.
