Raheem Sterling to Chelsea

Featured Replies

The look of hatred on Fatty McPie's face is just ridiculous. All because the kid wants to have a successful career instead of languishing at a mid table club like Gerrard did.

Best fans in the world apparently.

Yeah, who wouldn't want to stay at a club living off past glories (which are fading faster with each year) while getting twatted 6-1 by Stoke?

Yeah, he's a goner for sure. Us or City will get him.

I'm trying to work out if I don't want him because I don't rate him or whether its just because I don't want the Dippers to have anymore of our money.

Figures quoted are 50-60mil with him likely going for 35-45mil would be my guess. For that money there are better options out there and regardless of whether the media claims about his poor attitude are real or not I just can't see what he really adds to the squad. I doubt he'll ever reach the heights of Ronaldo, messi or Hazard

State of their fans. I swear liverpool have the weirdest looking fanbase of all clubs. Anyone remember that crystal palace gif from last season? That group of Liverpool fans just proves the point even more lol.

They get weirder, exhibit a. A 41 year old man from london that arbitrarily picked a team during its most successful period, crying like a girl.

"Haven't had to buy it". Amazing how many Liverpools fans cannot see the correlation between the rise of the football pools in the 60s and 70s, the Moores family, and their success. All closed books in those days too.

Besides - what he really means is "Can't buy it".

Cue at least two Beatles' songs, if you can take the Beatles that is.

Sterling could be a viable alternative to Griezman as well as home grown. The only question in my mind is whether he has enough goals on him. He is certainly good enough based on what I've seen.

Was a little happy earlier thinking about it, but with the possibility of Bale being available i would love to get him instead. Sterling has been disappointing towards the end of this season.

He's already a better footballer than Costa and is about 5 years younger.

Costa really does look an average footballer, I've never seen him do anything special (CL games).

At least Sterling is homegrown but yeah his wages will be an issue I'd imagine and that's why I see him going to City.

Think City is his more likely destination, tbh.  They'll want another English winger now that Milner has gone

probably sign Stevie G on loan so he doesn't play against NYC
