Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill and Ramires.... SMH

Only thing I can do is shake my head and laugh. What horrible, horrible defending, and after such good play in the first 10 minutes.

 

Is Southampton all over again, we start well, score and then make them look like a good side and us look like a team that has not had a week to prepare and focus on the game.

 

Hazard and co must be asking themselves how many goals do we need to score to win a game with that liable defense we have? 5? 6?

 

How many will Hull get in the second half? Will the game end 3-3, 4-4, 5-5. Or will we just give them the 3 points and be on our way. Hockey stuff.

 

Disappointed again at the lack of bottle our side is showing.

So many times this year we've dropped points from winning positions. Don't think we have mentality to win this league

The buck stops with Mourinho. He's the one picking the same underperforming players every week. How is Cahill in the team instead of Zouma? Ivanovic at RB instead of Azpilicueta? Willian? Ramires? Fabregas?

Bloody hell that was awful. Our defence has no co-ordination at all and we are completely incapable of keeping the ball, Mourinho looked absolutely furious and rightly so.

 

Ivanovic has been about as poor as I've ever seen him play, Willian has had zero impact and that Courtois gaffe... Jesus Christ, I was speechless - abysmal.

 

Sort it out lads.

How about the 31 year old senior player who already made TWO mistakes, one of which Courtois bailed him out of, should give him a decent pass back to his better foot?

 

I was talking about just that second goal. Courtois to blame. It's not hard criticising Ivanovic on this forum.

 

It is possible to say Ivanovic did a poor back pass, but what Courtois chose to do was abysmal.

I blame Hulls comback all on our defence, they are creating uncertantiy through our whole team with that display. I'll make an exception for F.Luis, the others have been absymal. 

First 15 minutes I was thinking, this is it, we've turned the corner, this is the game we kick on from.

I am absolutely gutted at the moment.

Even at 2-0 we couldn't keep the ball and they had some glaring opportunities that Courtious saved us from.

Our right side is as poor as you will see in the top flight

Was thinking how poor we've been even when we scored those 2 goals. Well, no easy rides for the team or fans anymore I guess.

Iva

All having nightmares. They look like scoring every time they come forward. Lucky to be 2-2. Shocking stuff at the moment.

Jose needs to sort this out.

Cahill off for Zouma, Iva off for Azpi as well.

I am willing to bet some money his f**k ups now outweigh the bail outs....

Ivanovic and Cahill just embarrasing. Willian non-existant. Since Hull got their 1st goal we have been second to every ball. Bottling it completely.

 

I feel sorry for Cahill, he is constantly doing the work of Ivanovic who never defends. It's got to the point now where Ivanovic has got to be dropped. All season he has been getting caught out at RB. His big goals are drawing attention away from his poor performances in defence.

 

Willian and Ramires have been awful again. They are physically weak, they can't handle pressure on the ball and offer nothing to attack.

Dave on for Cahill and tuck Ivanovic inside.

Willian, Ivan and Cahill have helped us self destruct what was a brilliant start.

We should still win this but that was pretty pathetic to effectively throw away a two goal lead.

Same old from Ivan, no point even talking about it at this stage as nothing will change. He'll still be untouchable.

 

Worried about the lack of cover in front of defence though, Matic seems to be getting stretched. 

Zouma on for Cahill and Azpi on for Ivan.

 

Fail to do that and we're losing this game. Fail to do that and we let Manchester City and now Arsenal back into the title race, AGAIN.

 

Jose, you have many good moments but you're a stubborn fool at times. I respect your successes but christ, know when to acknowledge your mistakes.

Really thought I'd be able to enjoy this match for the first time in a while. We were cruising. Two mistakes from Ivan and a massive one from Courtois. Ivan has been absolutely shocking with Cahill and Willian not much better. I can't believe how vulnerable we look against such a poor Hull side. Both their goals yet again down our right side.

Can't control a game to save our lives. huh....

 

The more Jose is trying to build this team in the mould 04/05 the worse its getting.

 

Now I'm happy that PSG put us out because Barca would've trashed us on current form.

 

Get a grip lads.

I've played full back, if I gave my keeper that back pass, my manager would go f**king ballistic.

 

I've played keeper, and if I tried to dance around a striker when I had the opportunity to boot it out, I'd be a goner.  The pass wasn't great, but the keeper has to be ready for that and he actually had the opportunity to clear it.
