Got to hand it to Jansen he's loyal but this decision to retire is very radical considering he still has plenty of years ahead of him in my opinion!

He was pretty much the only option, other than maybe Skrtel.

 

The fact that only 2 players in their entire squad are remotely capable of being made captain shows what a sh*te state they are in.

La Liga has seen their TV deal decrease.

Henderson's somehow made the cover of FIFA, I genuinely can't remember the last time such an uninspiring player made the cover.

 

He's hardly a bad player but above Aguero, Hazard, etc?

Bild now reporting that we have agreed a deal for Schweinsteiger. With him, Darmian, Depay and Otamendi/Ramos (+ maybe Schneiderlin) it would be a very good window and hopefully the end of Rooney playing in midfield for us.

Yeah lots of rumours about Schweinstegier joining United. Be an interesting move.

Decent window for United if they get Ramos and Schneirdlian.

Not really sure. Dapay can go either way, he could be the next Ryan Babel or the next Arjen Robben. Schweinsteiger is very injury prone and i'm not sure he is quite as good as he once was. Darmian......is he really all that great ? i'm not so sure. Ramos, if they get him i'm not worried at about him at all. He really isn't all that special.

Not sure why we are not in for him to be honest. Him and matic would be a good pairing

haven't seen much of schweinsteiger this season at all tbh, how did he play? will he strengthen utd much? i think the main concern would be his injury proneness, and being in a physical league how that may affect him. to be fair, i don't mind too much about utd strengthening, it's just arsenal and city i can't stand. I would rather fight it out with man utd over the title than the latter two. 

Schweini is still a top class midfielder but his wages don't justify his age and injury problems, will always be a a club legend no hard feeling for me.

Seems like a waste of money to me or a case of signing a big name for the sake of it. Schweinsteiger will be 31 in a few weeks and his ankles are pretty much gone. With no winter break over here I don't see him lasting very long. 

Excellent player still. I think he might be what ManU need a leader in their midfield. Blind is a good player but he is very inexperienced. In big games these players make the difference.

Man U could have a superb midfield next Season at this rate, gonna be tight at the top
