Lyall Thomas from Sky Sports has reported that Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is in South American with a view to convince Marcelo Bielsa to succeed Garry Monk... wouldn't that be something?

And people think Jose has a short lifespan at clubs, he runs his teams into the ground.

I went on the Liverpool mega store to order a kit for a friend yesterday. I didn't think it was possible but even their website is cringe worthy! Here's what they tell you if you want to buy a home shirt.

More Info

This Liverpool FC’s men’s short sleeve home shirt is 100% authentic, and will be worn by the players throughout the 2015/16 season.

The high-risk red represents the philosophy and values of the Club’s former great leader, Bill Shankly, combining the significance of tradition with superior performance and modern technology.

Features:

  • 100% authentic – as worn by the players
  • Tonal jacquard print with incorporated LIVERPOOL FC design to the front body
  • Under-arm moisture-wicking mesh panel for breathability and flex fit
  • Integrated mock collar with heat transfer tipping and mesh insert
  • Twin heat transfer tipping to cuff for seam-free finish and anti-abrasion
  • Raised textured rubber print for LFC Liverbird and New Balance branding
  • External 96 embroidery to the nape to commemorate the events at Hillsborough in 1989

History

50 years on from Liverpool’s first ever FA cup success in the new all-red Liverpool kit, and Shankly’s vibrant choice of red is still the desired colour of the 2015/16 Liverpool Home Kit; red for danger, red for power.

Steeped in tradition and historic victories, this all-empowering kit inspires courage, commitment and belief.

New Balance

“Hold Nothing Back”.

This season’s Liverpool Football kit is brought to you by New Balance, and it is the biggest kit supplier collaboration in the Club’s history.

New Balance is a global brand with grand ambitions; believing that winning is everything and that a relentless focus is the key to achieving goals.

They don't even spare the sponsors :face_palm: Now compare the write up with the Chelsea store (especially features). I wonder whether they can say (or do) anything simply for what it really is.

Allegedly Watford are in for Juan Iturbe from Roma - initially on loan until the end of the season before having an option to buy for €15m in the summer. Outrageous.

Speaking of Watford, if Mahrez wasn't in such sh*t hot form, I'd say Odion Ighalo's been the player of the year so far.

Crazy that player of the year so far is probably between those two and Vardy. Lukaku and Ozil with a shout too I suppose.

In marketing classes I had often look at work I was putting out and could barely contain my laughs because I thought it was beyond cheesy and just way over the top in lameness.

I'm glad to see some people felt the same way as me but still made a career out of it anyways.

One of my Liverpool-supporting friends did some sort of marketing course in uni. He wasn't too happy when on two seperate occasions his tutor gave them all an assignment to highlight and discuss all the bad examples of marketing on the Liverpool online shop. Or something like that anyways. xD

Heard on the radio on the way in to work that an American investment group are putting £100M into Crystal Palace. They said with that, along with the sky money they will have up to £200M to spend on players very shortly. Shows just how competitive the league is becoming!

They're "Against Modern Football" though of course, so I'm sure they'll turn the investment down(!)

just another steps towards the Londonisation of the Premier League. In 20 years there be just the 4 Manchester and Merseyside clubs and then 16 teams all playing within the M25

Mourinho back to the Madrid circus and Benitez back to Chelsea :O

This sentence should warrant an instaban

Did he go onto twitter to demand that the tutor be sacked?

I know they're not your bitter rivals as say Arsenal or Spurs/Liverpool are but does it annoy any of you lot how entitled the British football media make United? Mourinho gets sacked by Chelsea, He's barely left the door and they are already touting him as the next United manager and how he always wanted the United job and how he cried when Moyes got it blah blah.
