October 21, 201510 yr De Bruyne - the Chelsea misfit saves City....bugger He seems to be doing quite well this season doesn't he ?
October 21, 201510 yr De Bruyne - the Chelsea misfit saves City....bugger 5 goals & 5 assists; doesn't track back though.
October 21, 201510 yr 5 goals & 5 assists; doesn't track back though. The fact that he does actually track back and put in a shift defensively makes it worse.
October 21, 201510 yr Never should have let him go...clearly a brilliant footballer and we will regret this for years
October 21, 201510 yr Everytime KDB wins a match for City, we just get another reminder on how Jose screwed it up on him. We sent about 3 teams of players on loan, if KDB was just after regular football at the time, why didn't Jose send him out on loan for half a season? Too late to cry about it now, just hope Jose won't push anyone else out without a second thought about it.
October 21, 201510 yr Never should have let him go...clearly a brilliant footballer and we will regret this for years He was clearly the successor to Lampard. Getting the money was nice, but i think looking back, i would much rather have the player. Oh well, there is nothing we can do now but bitch and moan

Seriously it's getting no has gotten f**king boring now.
October 22, 201510 yr Let it go, let it go. Can't hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it go. Turn away and slam the door. KDB is a talented player, but his perseverance and will to fight are atrocious. Edited October 22, 201510 yr by Zinc
October 22, 201510 yr f**king let it go, remember what we did last season without him? Seriously it's getting no has gotten f**king boring now. It's really pointless isn't it. Folk crying on here because we sold him, what is that actually achieving? He's not coming back...we won the double when we sold him. There are plenty of better players out there than KDB, folk go on about it like it's Messi or something.

October 22, 201510 yr Exactly mate, it's things like this that are making the forum unbearable lately. I'm with you on this - really hating the whole tone of this forum recently. Just keep the crying about KDB to one thread eh? I thought it was bad when we sold Sturridge........

Unfortunately we have had an influx of forummers who seem to enjoy being miserable more than they enjoy celebrating. They re all doom and gloom yet disappear the second we have success. It's very odd.
October 22, 201510 yr I'm with you on this - really hating the whole tone of this forum recently. Just keep the crying about KDB to one thread eh? I thought it was bad when we sold Sturridge........ I know, it's like when Lukaku plays well and Costa doesn't suddenly there's certain posters claiming we made a mistake yada yada. Unfortunately we have had an influx of forummers who seem to enjoy being miserable more than they enjoy celebrating. They re all doom and gloom yet disappear the second we have success. It's very odd. Let's see if they're still here saying those things when we're doing better. That KOK guy only seemed to post when we're doing sh*t not when we were doing well. Which leads me to believe a fair few of these are not Chelsea or they simply like been miserable.
October 22, 201510 yr Regarding De Bruyne, I had a feeing we might eventually come to regret selling him (much more so than someone like Lukaku or even Mata to be brutally honest). However, I'm still ok with it because he had to be sold at the time. This was a player who was unwilling to fight for his place in the team in an area of the pitch where we had an embarrassment of riches at the time - Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Willian and Schurrle were all competing with KDB for a spot in the team. When Wolfsburg made such a good offer in January I think he had to go. Retrospectively, my main criticism would be over the fact that we lost both Mata and KDB in the same window. But IIRC KDB went very early in the window when it seemed like Mata would stay until the end of the season. United swooped in very late in the window and ultimately made an offer which neither we nor Mata himself could refuse.
October 22, 201510 yr Author In today's episode of Strange But True: Manchester City have been reported to Uefa after fans were heard booing the Champions League anthem before their win 2-1 over Sevilla on Wednesday. Match delegate Geir Thorsteinsson, the chairman of the Iceland FA, detailed the incident and disciplinary proceedings have now been opened, with the case set to be heard in November. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34603517 Bets on City getting a bigger punishment for this than Dynamo Kiev get for racist crowd trouble in our game against them?
