The fact that he does actually track back and put in a shift defensively makes it worse.

Everytime KDB wins a match for City, we just get another reminder on how Jose screwed it up on him. We sent about 3 teams of players on loan, if KDB was just after regular football at the time, why didn't Jose send him out on loan for half a season? Too late to cry about it now, just hope Jose won't push anyone else out without a second thought about it.

He was clearly the successor to Lampard. Getting the money was nice, but i think looking back, i would much rather have the player. Oh well, there is nothing we can do now but bitch and moan

KDB is a talented player, but his perseverance and will to fight are atrocious.

I know, it's like when Lukaku plays well and Costa doesn't suddenly there's certain posters claiming we made a mistake yada yada.

Let's see if they're still here saying those things when we're doing better. That KOK guy only seemed to post when we're doing sh*t not when we were doing well. Which leads me to believe a fair few of these are not Chelsea or they simply like been miserable.

Regarding De Bruyne, I had a feeing we might eventually come to regret selling him (much more so than someone like Lukaku or even Mata to be brutally honest). However, I'm still ok with it because he had to be sold at the time. This was a player who was unwilling to fight for his place in the team in an area of the pitch where we had an embarrassment of riches at the time - Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Willian and Schurrle were all competing with KDB for a spot in the team. When Wolfsburg made such a good offer in January I think he had to go.

 

Retrospectively, my main criticism would be over the fact that we lost both Mata and KDB in the same window. But IIRC KDB went very early in the window when it seemed like Mata would stay until the end of the season. United swooped in very late in the window and ultimately made an offer which neither we nor Mata himself could refuse.

If it wasn't for FFP we'd probably still have Mata
