November 6, 20178 yr Well we need someone to replace him. So I am curious who we get to fill his shoes. Telegraph reporting that its Conte and Granovskaia who don't see eye to eye. All very interesting and of course we will never know the full facts.
November 6, 20178 yr Interesting. It's impossible to know whether it's a good thing or not, since none of us actually know what the hell he does. Supposedly it was him given the task of a vision for the future, which saw the likes of Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku, etc.. signed, in which case he did well, but then Mourinho threw a load of them away. I have no idea what's true and what isn't, but we can hope this means Conte has Roman's backing and will be given the power to do things as he wants, which might lead to him committing for a longer period. I wonder if Guus Hiddink will come into that role now, someone Roman trusts and who is far more experienced and knowledable/
November 6, 20178 yr I sense a disturbance in the force... Whatever you think of Emenalo, this isn't a good situation.
November 6, 20178 yr he has long been a scapegoat for some fans, but yeah he seems to be a finder of good talent. there's talk he is going into coaching full time, so maybe it was his plan all along and nothing to do with roman.

November 6, 20178 yr lol if Hiddink takes the role and spends all summer trying to get impossible transfer targets, I guess it could be called a Wild Guus chase. HA!
November 6, 20178 yr some people saying he's going to monaco. hmm, interesting. again though, just murmurs.
November 6, 20178 yr If this in any way means Conte's position is now stronger and if needbe he can also bring in his own man and increases the chance that Conte might well stay here for many seasons to come, I think we all need to rejoice.
November 6, 20178 yr When Conte enters the next transfer window with hope but realises Marina is still at the club:
November 6, 20178 yr roman is the boss, all the decisions go through him first and foremost, so marina or emenalo will still have to consult roman before they make moves. people still think roman isn't involved with marina in charge, but of course he will be. matt law was also mentioning how emenalo didn't want to be the third wheel between conte and marina who don't see eye to eye. who fecking knows. all we can do is wait and hope it's a good decision. losing anybody from the club is not ideal. November 6, 20178 yr Lmao at people celebrating this, he will be replaced by someone exactly the same. If you think this somehow means we are going back to reckless spending and clashing with Utd and City I have a bridge to sell you. Our transfer dealings have been pretty good lately, with the demand from ownership to be a self sufficient club its likely to get worse.
November 6, 20178 yr Wow such news. Welcome to CFC Alexis Sanchez, Robert Lewondowski, Radja Nainggolan, Leonardo Bonucci and Sergio Aguero!!!! What a summer we will have. Amazing.
November 6, 20178 yr There dies the "Emenalo secretly wants the Chelsea manager job" conspiracy theory. I have no clue how good of a thing this is. We have won 3 titles, an fa cup, league cup & CL and EL trophies with him in the role of technical director. He might have appeared slimy but you can't say the club hasn't had success.
