May 5, 201610 yr Creativity is overrated. This is a game for machines. I dream of a team of 11 Essiens. Essien, Ballack, Lampard. The dream midfield. Would Nainggolan, Fabregas, Pogba be an improvement?
May 5, 201610 yr Essien, Ballack, Lampard. The dream midfield. Would Nainggolan, Fabregas, Pogba be an improvement? I don't think so. It's hard to beat Lampard with his goal/assist ratio of a top striker and the defensive workrate of Ballack, Essien and Lampard combined. A more realistic central midfield for next season would be Nainggolan, Fabregas and Kante though.
May 5, 201610 yr Author Need someone who's going to put a challenge him and take the burden of Matic...
May 7, 201610 yr Essien, Ballack, Lampard. The dream midfield. Would Nainggolan, Fabregas, Pogba be an improvement? Ess, Ballack and Frank could all pass and had great vision. They we're great all round players. Cesc is a bit lightweight. I have no idea how good Nainggolan is with the ball. Pogba is a real deal. Get him instead.

May 7, 201610 yr Naingolen Bonucci Pjanic and Ibrahimovic for me would be perfect imo probably very unlikely though.
May 7, 201610 yr Essien, Ballack, Lampard. The dream midfield. Would Nainggolan, Fabregas, Pogba be an improvement? Not even close in my opinion. Those 3 were complete midfielders. Attack, defence, passing range, shooting, goal scoring, workrates. Cesc is hopelessly limited and walking on the crutches of "creativity". I dont think Pogba's workrate comes close to those three's. Also, would be the combined total goals be equal to Lamps' returns? I doubt it.

May 8, 201610 yr Essien, Ballack, Lampard. The dream midfield. Liked Ballack, but for me the best trio was Maka, Essien and Lamps. Would Nainggolan, Fabregas, Pogba be an improvement? They would be an improvement compared to what we have now but definitely not to what we had 10 years ago.
May 8, 201610 yr Liked Ballack, but for me the best trio was Maka, Essien and Lamps. I think so, it had the best balance and with creativity coming from the wings it was pretty formidable.
May 8, 201610 yr And Ballack probably had his best years behind him, he'd of been awesome if we'd of got him at say 24-25..
May 8, 201610 yr Nainggolan, Rudiger, Higuain, and another CM is what i think will arrive come to think of it. Rest hinges on departures Edited May 8, 201610 yr by RickUK

If radja does not have a buyout, then this statement probably added a couple more million pounds to his fee.
