Alvaro Morata

Well that juve fan did say Morata turned down Milan previously, apparently he doesn't want to play for a different team in Serie A. Surely that leaves us as the only option?

I think it's more us than Morata or Real Madrid, honestly think we aren't interested... For some reason

That was what he said after the CL final. Having said that, if Milan offers him over 10 million net I am quite sure he will start considering them. I am positive though that he did consider Chelsea since he has even stated in an interview that he wanted to play for Conte who was the one to pick him at Juve (even though he never coached him in the end).

To be honest the timing of Chelsea's negotiations for the striker looks a bit off. Once they decided to offload Costa (a big mistake if you ask me)they should have got already an alternative in their pocket

Lucas Biglia

Funny thing is we have been associated with most of these players.Maybe Conte gave both clubs the same shopping list???

Also, if the new Milan owners are spending so much, wont they be serious enough to first look for a World Class manager?

Anyways, I really hope this doesnt turn out to be true

I never thought the Conte rumour was plausible, he is a Juve man. Why would he Join one of their main rivals ? Besides Conte showing up for pre-season should have taken away any doubt about this situation.

Conte had a fall out with Juve when he left and unfortunately I do not think he would have a problem to coach Inter, let alone Milan with whom he had already a deal during his last season at Juve but the club wisely did not release him.

Bonucci followed a similar trajectory but unfortunately the club was not wise this time or had the balls to impose him a foreign  destination

PS: anyway Milan seems to be after Belotti

While a pretty good conspiracy theory, one thing Milan needs to take into account is the fact that 11 players introduced into the 1st 11 overnight is not feasible at all. Too much needs to be strategized/view for them to begin designing tactics and style of play. Spending 300m while delaying FFP is one thing, but if they can't make that money back, they'd have to start selling these players or it'd be a long road to liquidation.

If the new owners think it'd be like FIFA then they have another thing coming. If Antonio goes there right now then he'd be in a world of hurt. Can you imagine having a new coaching staff and a new team who barely played with each other before to suddenly gel would be a miracle

Conte might go there in a year tho if Milan manages to survive

Other way around more like

No it isn't, Aubameyang is looking for a big contract, he is 28 and knows he will only get one more big contract in Europe, Chelsea are not going to offer him that, Aubameyang wants 300k a week, Milan are using Morata to make to Aubameyang lower his wage demands, I think that deal will get done soon, as Aubameyang has unfinished business in Milan as well.

Once Milan sign Aubameyang or maybe Belotti, then it will put Chelsea in a strong position to get Morata.

I can't remember a transfer window THIS infuriating, yes there have been certainly more underwhelming windows but for shear annoyance, this one takes the cake.

You only have yourself to blame my friend. Ignore the rumours, its a waste of time an energy. Be like me opening twitter one day and seeing we signed bakayoko.

I guess I agree, it's just this whole debacle with Costa that gets me. We really do need a solid striker and as much as I love Conte, I feel it shows a lack of communication between him and the board that no suitable replacement was waiting once he got the boot.

I dont give a sh*t about any of the rumours and Im still a bit annoyed at this point. The fact that we are yet to sign a striker suggest to me things havent gone our way so far. Telling our best striker to f**k off without having a replacement ready is very unprofessional and not at all a compliment to either the board or Conte

I dont see Morata happening.  90m euros is utter extortion for him.

He won't cost us that much, we will get him cheaper if everything goes to plan.

We've already ungraded CB and CM and spent almost 80 million. Big signings sometimes take a while as there's a f**k load of money involved but rest assured we are looking to spend big on a striker and I'm confident we'll bring in a world class talent

Just think, it could be so much worse. We could be Spurs. After their impressive season last year you'd think they would have some intent to push on but they haven't signed anyone and are not really linked to anyone of note. So they have to stand by and watch all the teams around them spend big and improve

They don't need anybody as long as they've got Delle Son Erickson Kane and Lloris in goal. Pains me to say it but they've got a fine squad at present. Hopefully some of them will leave like Modric and Bale did  years back

Until we see Bakayoko and Rudiger in action I wouldn't go as far as saying we've got an upgrade. Neither is a world class player at the moment. It's not like we've just signed Verratti and Bonucci.

I've got nothing against either and hope both do well for us, I'm just sayng we've bought potential, not a finished article.

apart from bonucci, their signings  aren't world class players that will displace anybody in our team.

to be fair, that's gotta fall on conte IF the texts are true (which we don't know) and it puts the board in a difficult place because not only will we now have to lose money on costa, we also need to find a replacement because he doesn't want to return.

If we're gonna throw 90 at alvaro I'd rather sign Lewandowski for 100 ffs

We're not going to spend 90M on Morata we will get him for less than that
