May 22, 201610 yr I don't think he'll have the same problems there. He will build a dynasty at man utd and be there for years to come. In the end he'll be remembered as man utd legend, not chelsea. Same goes for MataI think quite the contrary. If rumors are to believed, not everyone one the United board is enamored to him. Hes going to be working in an environment where hes going to be on his toes and best behavior, it won't be smooth sailing over there too. All the best to him though (that's if he comes second behind us).
May 22, 201610 yr If Jose left us for Man United it would be a lot different but we sacked him and he's gone to one of the biggest clubs in the world in a country/league he loves. I hope he fails of course but I don't hold this against him at all.
May 22, 201610 yr Doesn't love us a much as he often says I believe that he does love us... But, unfortunately, we can't expect to be loved more than his family, and his family (according to reports) want to stay in England.
May 22, 201610 yr Players will want to play for Pep over Jose or Conte I reckon ! Well there's plenty of players, no one can sign them all.
May 22, 201610 yr I couldnt care less where Jose goes next, i support Chelsea FC not Jose FC, bigger legends have left us who i felt more affection for. What's the betting he'll have little digs at us if he goes to Utd. There's no doubt we owe him a lot but for a very talented man he does come across as a moody git at times, thats without the hassle he also brings with him. Time to move on, Jose has gone & is never coming back, get over it.
May 22, 201610 yr Iam on the fence about this one....part of me says "of coarse he can go where ever he wants"....but the of other part says..."what a scab! Remember him saying yrs ago he could never train another pl club & that he loved & respected cfc & the fans to much to ever do so"...
May 22, 201610 yr I don't think he will build the dynasty as many believe how long before the United faithful get fed up with his ways negative football negative press how long before they start shouting attack attack.... Plus i see quite a few players avoiding him now based on his antics here and at Real.. He was once the manager you want to play for if Jose calls you come now not soo much. Mata must be telling his agent find me another Club lukaku will certainly not turning up at United i hope now Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
May 22, 201610 yr Is Eva Canary suing Mourinho ? I wonder if all the media types outside Chelsea will pipe down about his supposed sexism, now he is at the darlings of English football. Next season should be epic.
May 22, 201610 yr I don't think he will build the dynasty as many believe He hasn't built a dynasty so far at his previous four clubs, and yet look at what he's achieved. He's more likely to give his best for two seasons, and then it falls apart. It's happened on every occasion.
May 22, 201610 yr at least one thing is for certain, we won't have to continue defending his ludicrous and unnecessary outburts and nonsensical behaviour, it's utd's problem now and the spotlight will be even brighter at utd than it was here, including the pressure to succeed.
May 22, 201610 yr I don't think anyone believes Mourinho will build a dynasty, why would he? How many managers do these days? He will bring Utd plenty of trophies, CL football and make them fighting for the title. Thats what he does. Utd and City battling for the title.
May 22, 201610 yr We can't expect him not to take a job in England after sacking him twice despite him landing titles. Loyalty? We showed none to him (The club) so I don't expect much back. He will win things 100% because that's what he does especially when given £ (look at when we last gave him a good few to spend then won the title at a canter). I suspect he will do great things there because their board don't hold back the money and they tend to back the managers choices (Fergie and LVG got what they wanted). As for us it's just bottom even harder to get back to top 4. Jose and Pep with blank cheque books are a stick on to fight for the title so 2 spaces left with Spuds, Liverpool, Arsenal an ourselves to fight it out with the rest. We need heavy investment no doubts about it, I'm not convinced we will get it or if we can challenge the Manchester clubs for players signatures.
May 22, 201610 yr I think Conte is the right man for the job, I like what I have heard about him so far, he does not except failure and he's very hard on the players, but as I gather, the Juventus players were very responsive to the way that Conte managed. Experienced players such as Pirlo and Buffon were full of praise for him, I hope our players react in the same way, let's hope that Conte fires them up for next season, he will not want to lose to Jose at any cost, conte took Juve from 7th to first in one season, I know the league is different, but he's capable of making a big impact. I'm cautiously optimistic that Conte will do a good job provided the board backs him 100% and allows him to build a good side for us. He has good credentials so I'm not overly worried about his prospects as a manager but I worry about the board's ability to back him even when we have setbacks under him because let's face it I see this as a rebuild rather than just another manager coming in and making a few tweaks here and there with the squad so their will be tough times, but hopefully we have a good times under him as well. If he's very hard on the players, which I expect him to be because the best managers demand everything from their players then I hope they don't throw another tantrum the way they did with Jose. After all, some criticised Jose for being too hard on the players so they're in for a rude awakening if they think things will be different under Conte.
May 22, 201610 yr So basically you and the fans are worthless piece of @#% in Jose's eyes. All those banners, songs and going against the owners who want the best for this club for a guy who doesn't give a crap what you think and means naff all. Great. Mourinhos right our fans are sh*te This is the sh*ttest post I've read all year on this forum and that's saying something considering I've read more tripe elsewhere on this forum about our club and the fallout of Jose's sacking. Crap post from someone who's had it in for this man since the day he was sacked.

Sorry don't agree as I think you presume he will be successful with Utd a tad much and belittle us a tad much also. Given how LVG has stated once or twice about needing pacy players, I dont think the manager has always gotten what he wanted ( and there's Moyes literally getting close to no one at all though that can be blamed on his reputation as a manager) and given the vile insults thrown at Ed Woodward ( remeinds of someone in our employ, lol) by most Utd faithfuls, I don't think they will bring in all Jose's targets successfully but of course there's the famous Jose phone call to aid out.

I'm basing it on Joses past history. Every time he has come into a club he's improved them and in nearly all of those examples he's won trophies straight away. Now given he has moved to the bigger club in England both in stature and financially I don't see how he's going to fail. In regards to us we are coming off our worst season in the EPL's history, we require a rebuild and that's goin to cost a fortune. Now given we don't have CL and cannot compete in wages with United or City it's going to be very difficult to get the best players available. We also have a new stadium on the cards so Roman isn't going to throw money at us like he used to.

Could hardly disagree except with the not able compete with both Manchester clubs, this to me is where the Nike deal comes in, not only is it a welcomed source of income and would cover most loses of the monies generated in the Ucl but also the club announcing it quite early to show the footballing world they are still a big club despite the unfortunate season. Given the targets we have been linked to, I think the club is being fearless in its approach in market and hopefully we pull them off.

Plus he knows he absolutely cannot afford to rile the board at United as that is his last big hope. Plus I am sure Fergie will try to curb his behaviour as they are close pals. Think Fergie will clear that up when he sets up the dinner date with Howard Webb. That is what I am worried about. A changed, less vicious Jose in the media. He is a great coach no doubt and will win United the title. He actually can build a dynasty there ....something that I wished would happen at Chelsea.
May 22, 201610 yr I think quite the contrary. If rumors are to believed, not everyone one the United board is enamored to him. Hes going to be working in an environment where hes going to be on his toes and best behavior, it won't be smooth sailing over there too. All the best to him though (that's if he comes second behind us). I was personally in a situation in which there was a battle between two people above me, and one of them liked me and the other treated me worse than any boss has ever treated me. When this guy won the political battle against the other senior member, the environment became truly abusive. Jose steps into a similar scenario. Some of the major figures at Man United openly oppose his appointment. It might not even have been about him but rather about an unrelated battle between them and he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and is being used as a political pawn. Jose's job will be VERY difficult if he doesn't have the full backing of the board, if some members may be rooting for his failure and setting him up to fail. I wouldn't take the job if I were him, but of course I'm not him and have a very different personality. I give him two years at most no matter how successful he is.

Couldn't have expressed it better mate. Even how influential figures like Bobby Charlton and even of recent Utd's assistant manager under Fergie have openly opposed his appointment, I don't think he will be in the most comfortable working environment and he won't be held in high regard as he was here ( before this season at least). Anyways grateful for all he's done for Chelsea Fc and can only wish him club.
May 22, 201610 yr Can't anyone see why I posted that it was all on the cards for him to replace Van Gaal when I posted in December, just needed 'time to heal' before doing the obvious. Seems like the fiasco that started the season has now played into the hands of m*fc and Jose has always appeared to be close to Fergie The row with the doctor Poor start to the season Total disaffection Then it leads to today's announcement (like we all forgot)
May 22, 201610 yr My key question is: Can we have Mata back now please? Pains me watching him play for that lot.
May 22, 201610 yr Be interesting how Jose is about us in his interviews. I wonder if he'll act with class or constantly make digs about us.
