December 27, 20169 yr Why we should decide if Batschy is ready or not and if he should play or not? Conte is there for that and he decide he is not ready. I`m huge Michy fan and i really want him all the best and in 1 or 2 years to be a starting player, but if Conte decide he is not ready, then he is not. Conte so far show us, that he dosn`t care about what is your name or if you are a legend for Chelsea, and how good you was in the past, he care about now and play the players who are in best shape. Conte see all in the training and can decide who is ready or not. Otherwise we would still be playing with Ivanovic on the right, Dave on the left and with Tery/Cahill in the middle. Willian will play 100% of our games, Oscar and Fabregas would be a regular starters. And Mouses would be somewhere on loan .... Pedro would be a substitution .... How Pedro and Moses won their places ? They show Conte on training, they are good enough to be in starting 11 and they get their chance and their are important figures in our first team right ? So yes that is moaning. Conte so far show us he play the players who is in best shape. Who train hard and give 100% for the team, and who fit hes playing style. And also how hard is to understand that Muchy is probably not Conte signing? I don`t get some people we are in record run of straight wins, and they find something to moan. I think some guys, just wait us to lose or fail, and they start moan and bi**** about everything and spread their hatred ... Sorry but i don`t like such guys. And for last just 1 example. Mourinho was keeping Mkhitaryan reserve for long period and just starting using him and i see no problem with the player .... He say that Mkhitaryan need more time to adapt and to improve, maybe its the same for Michy .... Edited December 27, 20169 yr by brakeit
December 27, 20169 yr Im sure Conte will give him minutes when he thinks the time is right. The boy is going nowhere, lets give him time to adapt.

December 28, 20169 yr he we would have had to drop either pedro or willian to get michy in. They didnt do too badly. We are on our best run ever..Conte has dropped Ivanovic, eased out Terry and Mikel, turned Luiz into the best defender in the world, stamped his own style on the way the team is playing, getting the best out of Matic, hazard, pedro and costa, giving minutes to Chalobah who hes rightfully recognised is a bigger talent than loftus cheeck. and everyones complaining why he didnt play batshuyi...f*ck off..well i tell you what lets bring back grant or abc maybe they wud have tried. ps has anyone seen bat play? hes shown flashes...he has potential but is absolutely shiite atm...no hold up play ...will lose the ball everytime...will not last the game..is not a starter...it wud have been a disaster. he cud not have done what pedro or willian or fab did...so why risk it?

Run the clock down, see the game out ensuring we finish with the three points and the clean sheet. Give the crowd a chance to applaud Hazard's performance. I mean there's three fairly legitimate reasons but you're probably right, Conte most likely did it just to piss off Michy because I'm sure that was at the forefront of his thinking.

Firstly how many people have demanded Michy plays? I haven't seen many if any posts stating that. Conte has done brilliant this season, absolutely top draw. Anyone said differently? Has anyone seen Michy play? No because he has hardly played this season, no bash on Conte by the way but that's what has happened. Some people wounder why Michy only gets 10 seconds in the last game and whether he was a Conte signing. Good debate from what I see. The posts in response to this have been comedy goal and made out to be there unhappy Chelsea fans.

Mourinho was keeping Mkhitaryan reserve for long period and just starting using him and i see no problem with the player .... He say that Mkhitaryan need more time to adapt and to improve, maybe its the same for Michy .... Batshuayi has come in two important games for us where we needed to win in the first 2 game of the season. 1 he provided the winning assist and the other he scored the equalizer and went on to win the game. Mkhitarayan was kept out the frame for long period but he was not in the squad at all for certain periods. Batshuayi has been and the best way to get someone to adjust to the league is by giving them minutes. The game was wrapped up and it would of been good for his confidence and even for us to get another goal with his fresh legs if he came on. It was not like it was a risk bringing him on. We done so against the likes of Burnley when the score was at 2-0 and he came on and it finished 3-0. I am positive he could of found the net if he came on. Some people are really just acting like prats for the sake of it in this thread. Especially the people who make idiotic comments such as "people finding something to moan about when our manager has guided us to our 12th straight win". I love what Conte has done and how he has got the team playing but I just believe Batshuayi could have got more minutes out there considering our no.1 striker was suspended and we had the game killed and to give one of the front free a breather. There is no harm in having a discussion about it. It is people who make the sort of comments I referred to that are adding no use because there is very useful debates from what I see.
December 28, 20169 yr I'm sure Bats will play for us and score for us. He seems still very optimistic. Unlike De Bruyne for example who threw his toys immediately. We only have 2 recognized strikers and Conte has already said a couple of times Michy needs to learn to play his style to make the team.

December 28, 20169 yr Skimmed through the last few pages to make sure this hadn't been brought up.. Is it possible Conte wants to get him his required amount of appearances (hence the late sub) in case we win the league and therefor qualifying Bats for one? Before sending him on loan in Jan? Not sure how many you need? I actually don't think Conte would have that sort of thing on his mind, but he may.

You call being 3 goals up at home against bottomhalf table team with just SECONDS left to play for is necessary to 'run the clock down'? How low have we fallen? Do you have any pride of being a big club? do you know how to be one? So you actually think bournemouth can score more than 2 goals within SECONDS against a team who had only conceded 2 goals in the last 11 games? so much that we need that sub under that situation to 'Ensure' the 3 points? are you taking pot shot at the club? You're desperate, so desperate that you even somehow come up with a logic where you think a striker introduction is to ensure a clean sheet.. None of your so called reasons can justify that batshuayi sub and before anyone suggest another Batshuayi FC of some sort, please spare a thought about Chelsea FC.. Diego costa is the only recognized striker that this club have other than the bats, it's suicidal to think if we can get by with just costa the whole season.. The logical thing to do is to prepare our only back up striker in the best possible way and that is with game time and the manager's trust and bats is having none of that.. I take it after recent treatment his confidence would take a hit so where does that leave us? A player with no confidence and no game time isn't going to magically perform when called upon and when that happens, I believe there will be some shortsighted people who would jump on conte's always right and vindicated bandwagon..
December 28, 20169 yr I don't know why some people have taken offence to the prospect of discussing this, I never bashed Conte myself, this run has been incredible and I couldn't be happier, but as soon as you bring up Michy's game time, that gets lost in translation. I think people have every right to question, why a 32 million pound striker is not playing, we can question why was he brought in during the summer, when he clearly isn't the finished product, as it stands we don't have good enough back up to Diego. The 12 game run is irrelevant to this discussion, so I dont why like someone posted, we should fu*k off for complaining, stop being over sensitive.

December 28, 20169 yr I was just disappointed he didn't use that sub to bring on zouma and have the bridge applaud and welcome him back.

He had Michy ready to come on before the we scored the third goal. So had, hypothetically, Bournemouth scored in the 90th rather than us it could have potentially set up a nervy last couple of minutes where in the crazy world of football a win suddenly becomes a draw. So yes, it really isn't that unthinkable that a manager looks to run down the clock entering the final stages of a game, in fact it's common practice, almost all managers do it. So Michy was due to come on at 2-0 but then we scored, would it have been less "humiliating" if Conte having seen us score a third and wrapped up the win then sent Michy back to the bench and not subbed him on at all? The clean sheet itself isn't too important but if you can keep it you're going to do your utmost because it's definitely a confidence builder, especially for defenders but what is important is building your goal difference and a sub to run down the clock is a good way to achieve that goal.

Hes been doing it like clockwork since this run started. Its either we chose the wrong tactics and got lucky or we didnt dominate enough at home and then when we do dominate we are not scoring enough bla bla and now this whole Michy stuff is just another chance for him to get on his soap box to yell " Bad management". Its just ridiculous So true, I noticed there are some people who will never be happy. It's not just in football, if you read user comments in the Guardian or other papers, people have a go at everything. In real life I noticed it's often a sign that people try to deflect their dissatisfaction with their own situation to other themes. Someone who is generally unhappy will often choose to see the negative things in life. But that's just my observation, I could be wrong. It makes it hard to have a discussion with them, because emotions undermine the meaning of facts and reason. Just look at Brexit or the rise of far-right parties in France and Germany.
