March 14, 20179 yr I see comparisons to other players all the time, and although I'm not sure if the comparisons are trying to look more at influence or style of play, I can't help but feel that Kante is not like any player I've ever watched before. In my mind, he is undoubtedly the best central midfielder in the world and there isn't a single team that would be worse off with him in the starting 11. He could improve his on the ball ability, which he (1) is already improving upon, and (2) not even that bad at to begin with. But, if he improves, even a little bit, he would move from being the best CM in the world to one of the (maybe top 2 or 3) players in the world. He's that good. It comes down to more than just his tackling and defensive abilities as well. As Conte and others have said, his personality and demeanor helps the team and helps others. I've seen a lot of people say "he couldn't have impacted LC that much last season" which is true if you only factor in his tackles and interceptions. They're forgetting about everything else that he can offer. My favorite player and one I hope we have for a long time.

I was lucky enough to share a taxi with him on only his first week in Leicester, he hardly spoke English but one of the things he did tell us is how he thought it was weird that houses here had red bricks, it fascinated him, random but funny, he didn't talk about football much. Anyway just gonna say, as you must already know you have a beast of a player on your hands, and I'd be surprised if at least half of you don't have him down as your favorite player soon. I for one will be cheering him when he returns to Leicester in cup and league matches... Without him god knows where we would have finished in the league, but we wouldn't have a Premier league title that will be talked about for many years to come under out belts. As soon as he signed for you I put Chelsea in my antepost bet to win the league, I have that much faith in him as a player, good luck for the season, do me proud and win me my money! Well how many of you see him as your favorite player then? Haha Every time I see your team on the box he's always MOTM! I would have loved him to be with us this season to guarantee us the CL but happy he's doing so well for you! Seems my money on Chelsea was well invested at 9/2! I stand to win either 50 or 60 thousand depends on who out of Barca or Real win La Liga! All other selections seem well clear so it's all looking good! The main reason I chose Chelsea was this man! As I said in my above post this is how much I believe in him as a player!

March 16, 20179 yr Have to say Emenalo or who ever made this deal helped Chelsea and Conte a great deal to get us where we are today. Conte is the man but so is Kante. I think we really did our season in the summer. Probably wins the poty award if we win the league.
March 16, 20179 yr It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog, I love Kante, I was never that good, but I worked and still work hard, to make up for my lack of skill, he works exceptionally hard and does have the skill. If I'm not coughing and sweating by half time I've done something wrong, Kante is the same, he puts such a shift in and I love that, he's awesome, can't help but look up to him.

Someone else needs to get credit for all the good ones we pull off.
March 16, 20179 yr He is 1/7 to win the PFA PoTY award! It's unbelievable how he is almost certain now to beat Hazard to the award! And he already has the FWA PoTY award in the bag as well! Mind blowing really.

March 19, 20179 yr Is it a step too far to say he's the best footballer in the world currently based on form? Obviously not a 'fancy' position but...
