If that was given it would have been a farce he you see that sort of thing all the time in football he literally just got up and started jogging back on to the pitch. No look at the player no additional force, I'm not saying it was accidental but you would be hard pressed to make a case that it was a deliberate and cynical act

yeah and Costa didn't mean to stamp on Can because he never looked at him....

See players booked for that all the time, needs to be careful when already on a yellow.

Definite yellow mate, you could even argue a red card as any intentional contact to the face can be.

Should have been sent off but a great player. 

I thought his first yellow was very harsh, and I don't think there was much in the incident for the possible second. Maybe gamesmanship if you could prove he meant it, but it would have been  ridiculously harsh to get sent off for those 2 incidents.

That’s a good point I hadn’t considered that.

Big statement from the boss that with defensive improvement he could be the best in the world, it’s a real shame he isn’t quick because I’d think he may have a point if his defensive work progressed significantly 

First yellow was a joke, especially considering what teams get away with against us. He's a belting player, makes a mockery of all those who say he shouldn't play because he has no pace. 

Since he joined us the guy has been amazing. Don't get the criticism on here, I think any team in the league would be happy to have him. 

The guy is a class act.

Yeah, should def play Emerson over him.

 

His positional play and awareness in the opponents half is superb, he makes those type of late runs that Frank specialised in.
