The lack of knowledge of some football commentators is staggering. You had one team pressing high and one defending very deep as a pre-determined tactic to protect a new back three. And yet they kept banging on about Tottenham having way more possession? Duh! The question they should have been asking is why all that possession resulted in so few chances.

Oh and we all know how they love to stick the boot in about how we don't play youth...Christensen starts first League game against Kane, who doesn't score...not a word

I have grown bored of MOTD, it feels like it's become a very tired and dated show. It comes across cheap, the highlights are terrible and the analysis from the pundits put me to sleep.

Whilst I come from same school of thought as yourself having watched the game over 50yrs, in today's game that is a red. Rewatched on MOTD2 come to same conclusion Dier should have walked for that challenge. We'll have to agree to disagree I think.

Who cares about what a former mediocre player thinks of the big game of the weekend? I don't, and that's why MOTD is per se irrelevant to me! Go check the "we ain't got no history SB nation page" for a more balanced analysis of today's game! I have realised that those pundits and commentators are mostly, if not all, biased and highly hypocritical! However, I found Henry to be decent in his pundit role TBF. Also, TSN pundits and americans seem more unbiased IMO.

I've been travelling abroad today and only got information about the line up and goals. How did we up the team? It looked like a 3-1-4-2 but no idea if that is how we played. Morata was fairly isolated but didn't do much wrong when given the opportunity. He scored from a Spurs free kick. In fairness to Bats if he didn't get his head to the ball a Spurs player would more than likely have headed it in as they would have had a free header

 

Watching sky's coverage now and gary Neville is a complete contrast, praising us to the hilt...

Intensity to the max.

Conte picked a good team and the right formation. They had chances but not many. Kane hit the list but so did Willian.

Thought our new boys did great. I was critical of bakyokos lack of pace but his power and stamina make up for it as does his well timed, direct forward running.

Christensen was quite elegant and Luiz put in a big shift.

That's the sort of result that sets a marker for the season.

Souness admitted deep down he is a Tottenham supporter...haha what a w**k shaft

 I think you misunderstood me, i wasn't accusing YOU of anything, but the poster on their forum. They do it quite often on that forum, that is why i don't trust anything they say. It's hard to take them seriously when they are constantly making things up about the club and us Chelsea fans.

It's like in life people who have never tasted any success or goodness in one way or another are bitter, it East them alive to see others do well, clubs like tottenham breed and attract those types of people it's like a mini enclave of scousers in London.

just watched MOTD 2 & it wasn't half bad - Ruud Guillit & Jenas were on there & I thought their analysis was awesome - Ruudy broke it down what Don Antonio wanted to do, which was having CFC play Catenaccio - even Jenas gave a good explanation why spudz didn't win & gave examples of how to breakdown CFC's defense

Hold the phone here. If I'm not mistaken you are one of the people that turned on that post/poster after he said what he said. You can't just walk around telling spuds to go to concentration camps when you know their aura is that of Jewish heritage.  it was a terrible comment and even tho there's free speech, this is a message board you've got to answer to the community/mods.
