10 men behind the ball very difficult to break down 

It’s just a matter of time until we break them down. 

We have played better today than we have in a while, but our finishing has probably been the worst it's been in a while too.

might be better for us if they did try to mix it a bit more - hard to break down so far

I always get seriously paranoid when we miss a lot of chances. It makes me feel like we'll be made to pay for it later on.

Poor is an understatement Dids....

Good first half, but frustrating at the same time. We should be leading really, and now we have given them time to regroup and start again in the 2nd half.

It's understandable. More often than not, if you don't take your chances, you are made to pay for it.

Morata missed two chances, and cesc missed one too.

need to take our chances as it only takes one moment for bournmouth to possibly turn it around.

We've had enough chances to be 3 or 4 up and yet here we are 0-0 ...very disappointing....still hopefully we can capitalize the 2nd half especially if Bournemouth continue playing like this....Bats will probably come on and grab a couple 

Don’t think we are playing badly, just need to pass quicker round the box to move them around more. We will create space and score if we add that to our possession and play so far.

Man City would've scored enough to win the league on goal difference by now. 

Oh the bright side, Zappa's playing well. 

Don’t forget Begorvic has made 4-5 saves as well as the ones off target.

Finishing has been poor. Morata should have gone for power when he went for placing.

Otherwise has been a pretty solid performance by the team. Alonso has been anonymous.

Seriously how the f**k are we not ahead. We must've had about a dozen shots on goal. Morata should be on a hatrick by now. We need to put this team to the sword, this game should already be dead and yet they still have hope. We need to take our chances in the 2nd half, anything less than 3 points in unacceptable.

They say Azpilicueta's knee is ahead of Ake.....but it's not because Ake is sticking his ass out 

We're playing really well, moving the ball around, creating chances, against a packed defence, looks like we had a good goal disallowed as well.

 

With Pedro, Morata, Hazard and Fabregas on the pitch, you have to expect us to break them down at some point. Bournemouth haven't come at us at all, so Fabregas isn't being exposed in that midfield pair, and he's able to play at the pace he likes.

 

Alonso once again abysmal, I'd take him off, put Pedro in his place, and bring on Willian to take Pedro's place.

 

Morata has missed a couple of chances but good strikers miss chances, far more importantly he's putting himself in positions to score.

 

We need a win. Hopefully we do the business second-half.

Keep your heads up ladies and gents, better to be playing well than bad, it's only a matter of time. 

So tired, not sure i'll make it through the 2nd half.

I couldn't tell how we were playing really, we've had some chances, but still had some very sloppy moments, gifting possession away.

Alonso has been mediocre and as has luiz. Is luiz knee hampering him? He's not as mobile as he normally is.

The protection wingbacks were getting from Kante and Matic last season is not there  this season.

Alonso desperately needs some competition down that left side, he's been woeful since Spurs

Problem is, these games are the ones where you dominate, don't take chances and then they score a goal and defend for their lives to frustrate a team. Please don't let that be us today, we gotta get that first goal to release the pressure so we don't end up trying too hard to score.
