Hope we start with a high tempo and get an early goal to settle us into the game. Then we build a decent win and performance.

They will come with nothing to loose.

Hope our attitude is spot on. If so,we should win.

Agree.  This is why I can't see it being a whole new starting 11.  Still need experienced heads in the team to keep the system and shape.

Conte has to get the balance between rotation and picking experience for this one. The omission of Willian and Hazard from last Saturdays starting line up leads me to think he will start with these two. Our defence should be able to play 2 games in 4 days but maybe play Cahill instead of Luiz. Moses and Alonso give their all playing their wing back roles and should be rested. Maybe Dave could replace Moses if Cahill comes in to replace. Alonso may well have to start and be subbed in the second half.

Mr Conte will have to earn his money today but he hasn't got it wrong yet.

Hopefully see a few players rested with big games coming up in the premier league.

A team from Azerbaijan shouldn't be able to overrun us in the middle of the park so revert back to a 2 man midfield with Kante and Fabregas dictating play. Rest Morata for Bats and give Charly a chance to showcase his undeniable talent. Rest of the team basically picks itself, Zappa coming in to get a run about and Willy making his debut. Cahill back in to get those legs working and Andreas to once again prove why he deserves a space in the team. Would have liked to rest Alonso somehow but there really isn't anyone in our squad capable of playing that role to a decent standard. 

Think we should go for a full strength team. The season is far too early to start talking about resting players. Anyway, we can rest players next week in the league cup.

I say pick the best team and let them take control of the game and kick off the campaign with a healthy win.

Sub key players when things are 'in the bag'.

The more games we get under our belt, the better this team will get.

Use this game as part of that process.

Comfortable win and hoping for a Roma Atletico scoreless draw.(or should that be a score draw) i can't remember how it works should there be a tie.

Don't you mean Andy, Drinky and Zappy?

There are two things which bother me about Leicester fans: the first is the clap banners, and the second is that for a player whose name is as brilliant as Drinkwater, the best nickname they could come up with was 'Drinky'. At least that random bloke who sits in the South stand let his imagination wander slightly out of the box when he got the name 'Drinkbeer' put on the back of his shirt.

From what I can see we must be one of the few games not on BT Sport tonight? Anyone know what the TV situation is? Bit of a joke if they decided not to show the actual champions first game back in the CL!

In terms of the game, you'd hope it'd be a comfortable start to the campaign to ease us back into it, but you never know. This'll be a huge game for them. I'm sure we'll see some rotation so just hope Conte finds the right balance. Looking forward to seeing us back playing weekday evenings and the boys walking out to 'that' music!

It's on BT Sport ESPN, so on BT Sport basically. 

Ah ok, on my BT Sport app I can only see the City game on ESPN, but worked it out now! Cheers all, I'll put my flaming BT Sport pitchfork away for now.

I love it when I get a Chelsea game in the middle of my afternoon at work! COYB!!

A must win game for us in a tricky group, don't expect Conte to rotate more than 3 players ( Cahill, Willian, Zapacosta). I hope Morata keeps playing, our finishing hasn't been good in the last few games and I will be worried if we play the Batman.

Champions league games at the bridge.. nothing like it. Going to this one hoping we go full strength get the win then give some of the lads a rest. Come on Chelsea.

I think we will go strong but have some starters rested. Haz, Luiz, Pedro will probably sit this one out but as I said everyone wants to play so it is hard for coach to leave out players.

Looking forward to this game, finally got BT Sport! Great to have Champions League football back, and agree that we must win this one, but would be good to see Musonda get some game time.

The line-up looks good to me, especially giving Zappa a run out.  But does Courtois need a rest?  Willy is only really there incase he gets injured and knew that when signing for us.

This lot are an unknown quantity. We need to rest players for the Arsenal game at weekend. We need to win this match ass Roma and Atletico will be hard matches let's hope we do the business. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!
