I know those close to the club believe the deal is done.  I thinks it's curious that the deal hasn't been announced.  And until it's announced, there's always the chance that his head could be turned (again) by Bayern.  Especially since his agent/brother seems to have a good relationship with Bayern.  

Reports are deal was done, then there were reports it was close, then it was believed the club were waiting until the players came back from Asia, now pre-season is done and still nothing.  It's a distraction that Frank will be asked about at every press conference, and if the deal is done, then announcing it eliminates that distraction.

Cryptic social media posts do nothing to answer the questions.

Announcement of CHO signing a new contract today or tomorrow (otherwise known as the next 48 hours).

I suppose he doesn't have to sign before this window closes. It can drag on for the rest of the year.

This is getting really boring now. 

You have Hudson-Odoi posting pics on Twitter and Instagram giving hints that he is going to stay. There was also pretty much everybody in the media saying on the same day that he has agreed to sign a new deal. Well it's been over two weeks since all of that happened and still there is no confirmation of a new contract. 

All premier league clubs must submit their 25 man squad to the Premier League tomorrow.

Hudson Odoi could be named in the squad without signing a new contract. He could stay for another year and leave for a pittance next season. If this happens he will have cost Chelsea a lot of money. The figure would be between the value perhaps BM have offered, £50m ?, and the value an independent body would put on him. (£12m maybe) I don't know value in truth but it will be a substantial loss to the club. If this happens it stinks and he needs to think about that. Chelsea have developed him since he was a kid and if he wants to leave he should do it on a fair and equitable basis. Not forcing Chelsea to make a huge loss.

I'm not saying this is going to happen as he may negotiate a new contract with Chelsea this time next year. If he is considering this he might want to think about how his value and wages may have dropped by then. They may have gone up but he's playing a game of risk right now.

I can see him signing something in the next two days 👍

He did submit a transfer request 6 months ago and we turned down some good money. If he does leave on a free it’s entirely on us.
