Another bottom feeder that will no doubt play 11 behind the ball....can see much of game developing as both Everton and Brighton.  Still 3points is all that matters just to fend off any challenge from Liverpool and Spurs.

Shawcross injured, Martins-Indi injured, Zouma cant play for obvious reasons... their best defenders are out and that should be too much for defensive team like Stoke. So I hope we will start more offensively from minute 1 and get a solid, huge win - 5:0. 

Very confident on a win here, we are in good form, I don't think Stoke have what it takes to get something out of this. 

Play the same team. 

Prediction:

We'll play terribly in the first 20 minutes and let them have lots of chances with sloppy defending.
We'll get in good positions but ultimately not score.
Then suddenly, we'll concede and it'll kick our players into action.
We'll win 2-1.

VVD doing to Liverpool..BUMMER..  Liverpool are definitely showing Intent with this transfer. They have just guaranteed top4 with that transfer

Never understood the love-in for Van Dijk. Am I not seeing something or are some people seeing too much?

me neither....just an average CB as far as I can see, yes he is big and strong but certainly not too far above 'average'

Don't play Crapajoko whatever we do. He is worse than Bogarde and Torres stapled together. Can't shoot, can't pass, can't hold the ball.

He is really good at going missing and ruining all our play though. If we have a requirement for someone to do that he'll fit right in. Play him if we ever need to throw a game.

Not possible. He tried to get her but missed by about 30 yards when he tried to score.

Always thought he was average. Probably got all the hype he's got because he dominated playing in one of the worst leagues in the world. Liverpool just got done. 

I have a funny feeling anyone associated with Southampton are feeling like this right now in regards to Liverpool. 

This game feels like de-ja-vu from when we played them at the Brittania. They had a load of defensive injuries and we put them to the sword. Because of there injuries, I hope we go 3-4-3 like we did away from home and we won 4-0. We should put a few goals past them really if we go with a fully attacking intent. Want to see Hazard get back on the scoresheet too.

I’d  rest Hazard for this game. I’d start Danny and rest Moses maybe rest Kante as well

To be very fair to liverpool,

A LOT of our own fans thought VVD was the next coming of christ and the idea of Andreas being as good if not better was ridiculed and laughed. So....

I'd like see Hazard rest too in this game, because after that we play Arsenal....

I would not rest hazard. 4 days since the last match and 4 days gap to the arsenal game. Then we have an FA cup game which he can be easily rested for, so a week's gap. That is a decent rest period.
