Nothing to do with Barkley this, but the Bridge looks dreamy lit up, always takes my breath away. 

Very nervous. Not the talker type I see. Never heard him talk. Hope he does well and stays fit.

Think he'll surprise a lot of people in a positive way. I think its going to be a great deal for us and that Barkley will become a vital part of the team.

Five years ago or so I’d have been buzzing with this signing, he’s stagnated a bit much for me! 

 

Hopefully he can still improve as he’s still young enough to get better.

 

Also anything that upsets a scouser is a dream for me!

Look we all have our opinions but I really believe this lad if taken care of and used properly will be a huge asset for us......he is powerful, direct and fast, with a decent footballing brain. He's what 24? And we got him for 15m?.....aint bad at all.

Like the Bakayoko signing you'll have to forgive the lack of enthusiasm - would have preferred we went after Draxler tbh. That said now that we've signed him wish Ross all the best, hopefully we don't now have two donkeys in the midfield ranks.

It's kinda ironic how a scouser has stolen RLC's place in the team.

Undoubted talent and I hope he still has the mentally to make the most of it. If we can keep him fit and he shows the right attitude he could be massive for us. Really worry about this signing though but at 15m well worth the risk. 

My dream for him is to score the winner against the red scoucers in fa cup final, that’s something I’m sure he dreams off and it’s never going to happen with the toffees.

I think Joe Cole might be a better comparison. If he can do as well as Joe Cole, he'd have done pretty well...

Taking the number 8 shirt in my opinion not a great move, fans will be like oh yea, lets see what you can do then, instead of give the kid some time, it's putting pressure on himself imo. Who was the last scouser we had incidentally? Liverpool accent and chelsea shirt seem like a paradox
