2nd shot willian might of rushed it cause the goalkeeper made first move or its goal, but still good shot .

great effort so far - I was getting worried for about 20 minutes they seemed to have us right under the thumb but that first Willian strike against the post lifted the crowd and the team

we're in this game, second half will be fascinating - can see Giroud coming on to nick a winner in the last 10 minutes

Didn't expect us to be so dangerous, to be honest, Barcelona have the ball most of the time but they don't create chances like we do. 

Interesting first half, we were closer to reach the goal, I believe if we will continue in that way and put Morata or Giroud in the second half, we will score.

I think we played well. Just need to keep that up, a problem we've been having lately.

Willian and Hazard have been excellent. Willian unlucky twice hitting the post. Dave and Kante have been fantastic too as has Alonso and Moses. We need a target man and I'd take off Pedro. Great defensive display so far. We will tire second half and Barca will get more space. We need a goal. So far so good but there's a long way to go. Should be two up by now. At least everyone is fighting for the badge. More of the same please with a target man upfront.

I lot better than I expected we have been much the better side despite their boring possession. However I am still very nervous about the second half to be honest they have players who can pick game up...... I was listening to talksh*te on the way in and how we are nothing without hazard .... there is always Willian of course Durham !

False 9 and Fabregas both seemed to perform their roles extremely well.

It's a shame that some of the armchair managers out there didn't have there say though, I'm sure we would be winning by now if we did.

It's actually nice to see Conte more interactive, even if he's just angry, he's been so miserable lately. 

I think bringing Morata on is the only option if we want to continue to press as he has the pace to do it, though it means foregoing pedro who has been working his ass off like a madman. i am undecided. i want us to have a focal point when kicking the ball up top, but also think we have to continue pressing like we have.

He could have gotten a  2nd yellow in other instances. If he's not from Barca.

This is not gonna end well. We should have scored the chances we had so far, could have easily been 2-0 by now if Willian and/or Hazard did better.

I don't think we are gonna be able to keep this up. Our players are gonna be tired so we are not gonna be able to break away when possible but we'll also not be able to keep closing the gaps. Our best scenario here is probably a 0-0 and hope we can somehow repeat the performance but finish 1 chance in Barcelona.

with messi not in their team i would be more confident, but messi is always capable of pulling off magic whether a goal or assist. you need to drag 3 men out to mark him at times lol.

Would be very harsh, but I've seen MANY players get sent off against Barcelona for less.

Either way he should be on his last warning like I said, one more bad slide tackle and I expect him to be sent off.

People slag on pedro so much.  I don't think he's any type of worldbeater but he has an incredibly high workrate and it causes problems for the opposition.  I'd probably say around 70 mins you make the sub if the result stays the same...

They have the option to sub him off of course but you would think he doesn't get many more chances from the ref. Then again this is Barcelona...

liverpool would have loved this game vs barca with their endless pressing. we have plenty of fit players ourselves though, and this match means something so it gives extra ummph!
