We're playing one of the bottom teams in the PL in bad form and Spuds are facing the Champions elect, you'd think we'd be back in for the CL but of course nobody entertained this thought as you just know it will be the same tactics, same performance, same result - no win (unless we get lucky)

We can end the day being 7 points away with 5 games to go, just find your brain and your balls and get it.

I thought alonso's was accidental. I think he just tried to step across him to get his body in front, but he caught long. No malice in my opinion.

I am totally speechless. Our attacking trio has been poor. Alonso has been poor. Cahill has been...Cahill. Even Azpi has been poor. I can't believe we are going to lose to a team to be relegated. And the first Chelsea substitute will be on the pitch on 82nd minute.

I think the only reason Conte still has a job is due to the FA cup, he has simply given up on the league.

Can't wait for the season to end, When you see your ex players running ring's around you it's time for a change

It was foul and a definite yellow, i wouldn't blame the ref if he sent the player off, but i don't think it was a terrible tackle like is being made out.

2018 has been just as bad, if not worse, than anything in the 15/16 season. Utter sh*t and I'm so tired of watching it.

We get the ball in their final third and there is just no-one to pass to, no movement whatsoever. Players just jog around. You watch a good team like City or Liverpool or Spurs and there is constant movement, always looking for space and they play the ball quickly, not stand around and wait for the opposition to setup their defence. Just f**king awful, yet again.

Clearly what we need in the 2nd half to turn this around, is more aimless flicks going to no-one from Hazard and Willian, that will help us get back into the game.

Thank f**k for half time. We've not been outplayed or anything but we don't look like scoring and our defense is far from its best. It does feel like a nothing game with a few players coasting through the half, so maybe a good time to bring on some players with something to prove.

That's a red and retro ban, the ball was nowhere near where Alonso stuck his foot in.

I saw a video on YouTube of them two just practicing flicks for 2 hours a day after training.

Ok, looking at that Alonso ‘challenge’ again he should definitely have gone. Nasty and totally deliberate. Stupid too as it was in the refs clear line of sight. Lucky that even Mike Dean is feeling sorry for us and let it go.

Don't blame conte the same players played crap for jose. the squad needs to be dismantled and rebuilt with players that give 100%

This is probably right, but can't the board see we won't win it with conte in charge 

I dream of a second half we give it all and first draw back and late on win it with a great long shot. I think none this will happen.

Hazard looks like he doesn't give a sh*t either. Pointless flicks to no-one. Passing at every opportunity. The occasionl time he tries to beat a man he gets tackled and just gives up and watches them run away with the ball. He's the big player you need to stand up and do something when you're struggling, but unless the rest of the team is playing well, he does nothing to grab games by the scruff of the neck and win them, which is why he'll never be a truely world class player.

Someone explain to me why am still watching this and all it's doing is causing pain
