Completely disagree with you on Rudiger, Davey. Rugider has been one of our best players this season. If he isn't good enough, then pretty much the whole team aren't good enough.

He has been one of our best players this season but that ain't saying much. I like him, I like his attitude, I think he's an upgrade on Cahill.

I don't think he'll ever be elite.

As for striker, I like Giroud but he's not good enough to be our front line striker, especially as he never runs in behind.

He’s probably already worked out there’s no point making runs in behind because no f**ker will pass it. Tippy tappy flicky sideways backwards bollocks football that achieves nothing is the order of the day!

Emerson gave up trying to run in behind early on because the ball never came his way.

Fully deserved our win and hope we bring it home next month even if I think we don't really deserve a trophy this season.

Hazard is back in form and the substitutions were effective, even Bakayoko showing what he might develop into. Delighted for Giroud and especially Morata. Willy kept a clean sheet!

I think he has been great this season but he was given a bath by Austin in the second half. Shakey and regularly caught out of position.

Strange game in that we were far the better side and yet Southampton could have scored a few goals...got to be happy to reach another final...really hope we can win it this time and make amends for 12 months ago...Giroud and Emerson look good January buys

Not the perfect performance, but it was an excellent result and it was great to see the boys get reward for effort in the second half.

May 19 2007 (FA Cup Final) = Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

May 19 2018 (FA Cup Final) = History to repeat itself?

LOL. Honestly dont know how people keep there cool watching a single person DESTROY the club, but I honestly cant. Call it knee jerk, call it whatever you want, but repeating the same mistakes again and again should be unforgivable.

Destroy the club, are you sure ? Perhaps you should think a lttle harder before posting.....UP THE CHELS !

Its not? His decision of playing cesc in a 2-man mid has cost us top4 (almost), which might end up with us having to sell Tibo as well as one of the best players in the world (Hazard). Just because we won the game (not a good performance, mind you), does not change the fact that Conte has screwed our season.

Don't argue with that bloke, @Spiller86 He knows all about football because he watches Sky and BT a lot.  And they tell him all about that football.  Tactics, who's good and who's bad, everything.  And he's very studious, he knows it all.

It will be awful to lose to United, but it would be great to beat them.

The only issue I have is Conte's tactics, I really hope he doesn't go defensive if we go 1-0 up against United, that'll just massively backfire. Time for us to save this horrible season and get something out of it.

Well put Yorkley. If Conte does go,and i hope he doesnt, perhaps Didier could be in line for the job. LOL

Moving right along I think this FA Cup final is massive for Conte and his career and legacy as a manager.

He doesn't have a great record in big games/finals where as Mourinho is the master of the big game and tailoring his tactics perfectly for the situation. He is also excellent at switching up his approach mid-match.

A win over the very saavy Mourinho with his expensively assembled squad at Wembley would probably be close to the biggest win of his career, perhaps more so than his victories at Euro2016. It would mean he could probably write his own ticket for his next role.

Mourniho's winning streak in finals is impressive !! I actually believe he's always won the finals whenever he reached them (granted he lost two uefa supercups but there were mickey mouse cups tbh) ! But like every streak, it must come to an end ... Next May 19th Hopefully  !

Embarrassing

Really? Dont see you saying it for the person whose only argument for literally any discussion is "this guy does not know things, its simply based on BT and sky".I will take BT and sky over whatever drivel that fellow posts.
