It certainly seems like we should see some movement now. Higuain has to sign by noon tomorrow to feature in the Spurs match.

Has apparently arrived in England to complete the remainder of his medical (parts have already be done in Milan apparently). 

Touch and go whether we can get everything wrapped up in time (midday today) for him to register him to make his debut against Spurs... Wouldn't hold your breath on that one though. 

Cutting it fine. Can't imagine him featuring tomorrow. It's been at least two seasons since he played for Sarri, he might be a manage by numbers kind of guy but surely you can't just jump back in to a system with no training in a massive derby.

Talk on Twitter he's passed his medical. I saw that about 20 mins ago so depends if he's been able to complete the remaining paperwork in time.

Not too sure how long he's out for. If so, swap him out for Kovacic i guess. Both Kovacic and Barkley are a big step down from RLC.

I am probably in a minority but I'm massively underwhelmed by this signing. I accept that we needed to do something and Higuain is hopefully going to be some improvement on what we have, but yet another signing that is at the very tail end of his career and currently out of form.

I wonder why we didn't go and sign the guy that Milan have signed to replace Higuain? He's young and bang in form. Probably something to do with systems I expect.

Piatek is unproven and he could end up as another Bellotti. Higuain is a proven goal scorer that you can't write off playing in an average Milan squad.

I'd rather we didn't splash a load of money on a striker currently and scout properly to look to buy a long term striker in the summer.
