No one is going to pay big for him to be honest if we can clear the remaining sum due to amortised ( around £5 million ) will be good business

I’m no Jorgi fan, but he is worth more than £5m

Apparently we want between 15mill to 20mill to section his sale according to Fabrizio.

If they have big bucks to throw around, then this is fair. They are rivals and are desperate.

Little bit of me is sad if he leaves.

For sure, he always gave his all. As a fanbase we need to remember he was a big part of our Europa League and Champions League success.

Ps i do think its time we let go, but i wish him only the best

While this came out of nowhere the Chelsea Podcasters I listen to have said this is very much on.

Arsenal, and Arteta specifically, really want him, he wants the move, and we are open to receiving a fee for him given he would be leaving on a free in the summer. Apparently this one is very close.

With the way arsenal is playing, jorgi is an interesting option. Arsenal want to play fast and ask their dm to cover because they want their fb to overlap/underlap.

We on the other hand has one of our fb (Chalobah) staying at the back 99% of the time.

I don't know how it can work with arse

Agree, Jorgi has done very well for us.

The problem lies when you have to justify how his fans perceive him. I can easily explain how well jorgi play to help us win cl. But it is impossible for me to explain that jorgi is as important as Kante as winning that cl or how jorgi is this regista spectacular.

jorghino polarizes opinion much like Mikkel used to. I think hes a very intelligent player but he fills me with dread when he is the last man. we need some one with more oomph (fwoabw) in the middle of the park for me. someone who the opposition doesnt just blow past. Like a few others his time is up hopefully.

I think it is worse than Mikel. At least with Mikel he was never considered elite.

I am actually very curious to see how jorgi will play for Arsenal. For last year version of city, jorgi would have been a perfect backup for rodri.

We sell Jorginho to Arsenal. Buy Caicedo and loan Gallagher and RLC to Brighton, then buy Fernandez. Imagine the drama.

If this would happen, then it will be good for both sides.

I'm not a fan of Jorginho, but we can never forget for everything he has done for us, he played his part in winning the Champions League.

I won't be surprised to see him doing well with Arsenal and their game plan, ball possession and offensive play in the buildup is something good for him.

I can see how this makes sense from Chelsea’s, Arsenal’s and the players point of view.

However, I don’t like Arsenal and they really hate us, enough to complain about our spending.

It just feels wrong to be selling them a player they want from us.

Hopefully an Italian club can hijack the deal today.

Absolutely f**king hate selling players to Arsenal.

Jorginho was such a marmite player, had some great games, had some shockers, hopefully he goes there and cost them the title.

Decent money for us though rather than lose him for free.
