My guess is that he will risk Hazard , Kante and  Cahill and try and get 60-70 minutes as a minimum out of them 

thats the lineup  I think will play except Alonso for Emerson per preseason and I think caballero will get the nod for the first game of the season. Kovacic may get ten minutes at the end. 

We are very, very poor- that's what pre-season showed us, despite not having all our players back.

Hopefully Barkley, Hazard and Willian can step up and actually get us some goals. We just can't seem to score at the moment in open play. I expect nothing from Morata, at all. 

We can give Huddersfield a game Mooy notwithstanding. 

Kepa will start the game against Huddersfield, according to this:

Come on, that's ridiculous, we aren't very very poor at all, during all our pre season games other than the city game we played some superb attacking football creating loads of chances, plus its just pre season.

I agree it is a worry but I think CFC will be ready to go as these top guns get back into form and fitness from the World Cup. 

Against Lyon, I thought we created quite a few chances. How Giroud didn't score chipping the goalie, I don't know. It was a concern the raw number of goals scored but overall, I enjoyed their possession and thought they created a good amount of chances. 

Sarri, given his history, seems to be a realist with his comments and not say something just to say it or make anyone else feel better. And he said "in two or three months, I think we'll be pretty good." So, I know it will take some time. But, when it does arrive, I think CFC can be pretty good. 

Hopefully, part of that "good" starts Saturday.

It wouldn't surprise me that Ampadu and Christiansen play together in a back 4 and Rudiger and Luiz play together and they don't mix them up. I would like to see Emerson start on the left over Alonso... However, I don't expect Hazard to start and it wouldn't surprise me if the front three is Willian -- Morata -- Pedro, which I am not a fan of

Which is why loaning out Michy without giving him a 2nd chance in this system is bloody absurd. We do that, we’ll be panic buying a striker in January, if coarse we might end up doing that either way, but at least give him a chance, we know he’s a capable finisher.

That is exactly what it will be, too early for Hazard and Giroud to be thrown in to the mix, I’d expect Giroud to challenge for a start when fully match fit, as I said before, I think Michy is off to Spain on loan, hope I’m wrong.

Too soon for kepa and kovacic imo. Kante only one I would risk based on who he is with his lack of training.

Our first real test...

Out of all positions available the keeper is the least tactical and Kepa should 100% start, no reason not to at all especially as it's 'only' Huddersfield. As long as he can jump on both legs and use both arms, why would you not start him? lol

Really not sure what our best 11 is now though with Sarri's new formation/ideas, so will be intrigued to see who starts.

Yup pretty much. I am desperate to see Hazard and CHO play together. 

Ah... thank god the season is starting! Too many changes in one summer, I really hope Sarri will prepare the team well for this game. We have missed many players in our pre-season, Hazard, Michy, Cahill. 

I really hope we will start our season with the right leg, and get a victory over Huddersfield. I still don't know our best lineup, but I'd like to see for this game this lineup:

Yes because the team have only a little bit of cohesion. It's not going to come together after a week together. It will take time. I can see us hammering Huddersfield though.

It's better to be creating chances but not finishing than not creating at all. But I agree, we need someone to start finishing them otherwise we will struggle.
