I would agree better to start Giroud and hopefully Pedro will be back to fitness too.

I disagree somewhat. Morata seems to have a bit of success vs manure - IMHO he scored at old crapfort, but this goal was a bit of beauty

That was during the spell that Azpi and Morata clicked for the first 10 matches or so and then opposition clubs wised up and stopped the supply.  I was hoping that Alonso could do it from the other side though it did not materialise. 

Would be great to see him score with such aplomb again, if we can outfox Utd like that.

There are very few managers as talented as Mourinho at spotting direct supply lines similar to that. 

We're going to win this game.

They've won 3 PL games at the bridge in 20 years and one of them was a con job by Clattenburg where Torres was wrongfully sent off.

Jose and this Utd squad dont have a player that can stop Hazard in the mood hes in, last year, an out of sorts Hazard tore them to bits at Wembley, this Hazard is considerably more dangerous and in form and lets face, that game where Herrera shut him down was a once off from the little Spanish c**t, I hate Herrera more than any current Utd player as he acts the hard man, kicking players around the pitch but as soon as hes touched, he goes down like hes been shot.

Utd have a threat, they've got quality players but Jose isnt half the man he used to be and he only knows one way to setup against an attacking, free flowing side and thats firmly parking the bus, hoping to nick a goal from a set piece or counter and giving up 60/65% of the ball.

Chelsea 3-1 is what I'd guess.

That sh*t went as designed.......it was fergi's last season........no way they would allow anything other than 3pts against a title rival. No such thing such as the ref bottled it.......3 huge calls went for them that had direct effect on the game.....it went as intended.

indeed, that game was a complete fix!! it took me a  fair while to recover from the injustice of that game, and the amazing thing was how obvious it was

Most def my friend..........its just one of hundreds of sh*t we have seen through the Fergie years. How can you go through the Fergie years and not think this sh*t stinks? And you only have to go as far back as the season before to see another exhibit; United 3-0 down but their main man Howard Webb stepped up awarding two penalties to get his team back in the game, the second of which was literally as soft as they come- but he was always going to give it. 

I think that this game will be either very easy and a convincing win, or extremely tough with a probable loss. On one hand, our quick playing style is United's weakness, especially if they field a midfield of Pogba, Matic and Fellaini. We will pass rings around them and we will create enough chances to score several goals. On the other hand, their gigantism (especially if they field Fellaini) can do serious damage to our already defensively frail team on set pieces. Each other's Kryptonite and all that.

Reckon Mourinho will try to stir the pot in regards to Sarri. Conte got played by Mourinho last year and got into an unecessary verbal battle. Hope Sarri doesn't fall for the same tricks.

International Break sucks, right when we are in form and they're out of form. 

Either way, we should be winning this, they're just not good enough at the moment and we are playing well. However, let's not underestimate United, they have some good quality and can take a big hit on our defenders, if we do not end up winning this game I can guarantee it'll be down to us not being clinical enough, because I'll be very surprised if we don't make a lot of chances in this game. 

Huge pressure for Jose Mourinho, I'll be disappointed if we don't win this one. 

The only good thing playing Utd after an international break is they are likley to have as many playing internationally as us.

Fortunately the players don't require motivation for this fixture though I agree momentum is important and can be lost.

So far Sarri doesn't seem like he will get drawn into any verbals, I would guess he would just laugh shake his head... pick his nose for a bit then say "Jose is a great manager" with a little smile on his face
