I am taking my youngest to his first ever Chelsea final. I am really hoping that Chelsea fans will sing consistently and show the world we are not plastic supporters. When we were sh*t we were some of the most passionate fans in the land. The weight of expectation is killing our fans who are unable to relax and say f**k it we are Chelsea and we are best regardless of how things are going on the pitch.

Look smart, sing loud and make sure the world knows what it means to be Chelsea.

Or they’ll just boo you as you get to your seat.

It'll be David Luiz tackles Aguero, passes it to Kovacic, then puts it on through to Jorginho for him to score the winning goal in the 94th minute while just collapses in sudden shock.
A Jorginho winner will be amazing

I don't remember it being so toxic even when we were poor during late 70's and a large part of the 80's.

Like you I hope the supporters just support the team, that is the job of the supporters after all, but more importantly it's what the players need at the moment for their confidence. Loud and proud all game, win lose or draw.

Reading papers this morning and listening to other fans, they are all lapping it up, they think it's the end of our  winning era, no new ground, crap manager, sulky average players, transfer ban, and owner who has lost interest and board that is clueless, it really needs now for us fans to adopt a seige mentality, roukes drift, Custer's last stand, battle of the Alamo and all that, starting tomorrow we as fans have to stand up and be counted and be heard, last two home games United and Malmö wehave been embarrassed by their away followings and the noise they have made. I appreciate Wembley is sh*te for atmosphere but we got to make best of it and not sit there like lemons, let's stand and bellow out the Chelsea song book. Remember in 80's we didn't win things but our away following was second to none. Bring it on tomorrow. Carefree

For me, the Spurs game on Wednesday is a lot more crucial. We need to win that game. The point is that we are likely going to get beaten tomorrow, with our best team. Then our 'best team' will also play against Spurs. Will they be able to keep the same intensity? I am not so sure. I would defo rather lose this game than the Spurs one as getting top 4, has to be our priority. We cannot afford to lose on Wednesday. Annoying that Spurs have an extra day rest than us also but Arsenal also have 2 games they are likely to win tomorrow and on Wednesday. We need to keep the pressure on.

Absolutely right. The club, manager and players are going through a spot of bother at the moment, let's show them we are there for them during troubled times.

All the big clubs have terrible home support atmosphere wise it's not unique to Chelsea. If we were playing Man United at Old Trafford on Monday it would have been a role reversal us doing the singing for 90 minutes. The atmosphere has gone us old boys have to accept it I have and if we let in an early goal tomorrow well don't expect constant singing from our end.

You got your wish this afternoon, after yet again they 'bottled' it at Burnley!.

I don't know how any Tottenham fan can ever laugh at fans of clubs who are going through a tough period, they have been a joke since before I was born

Tomorrow's final is much more important than the Tottenham game. I don't think Sarri is the right manager to take us forward but trust me, a win tomorrow followed by a loss against Tottenham on Wednesday will convince the board to give him more time. But a defeat tomorrow followed by a win against Tottenham will still see him get the sack.

Sadly your right, just trying to maybe inject some passion into tomorrow.

Not for me, I will take defeat Wednesday if it means we win tomorrow, 3 points or watching us lift some silverware, never get bored of winning trophies, spurs would give anything to win a trophy, luckily another season will go by and they win f**k all!!

Pumped for this one even though we might get pumped ourselves.

Would he great to see Sarri offer us a glimmer of hope (similar to the match at the Bridge) by just trying something slightly different. Play Kante 10 yards deeper, start CHO, give RLC a chance. Everyone was rooting for Sarri, but what is happening isn't working. We just want him to demonstrate that requires a reaction and a tactical shift of some sort. Acme Sarriball isn't the solution for everything.

As pessimistic as we’re all feeling right now, a cup final is still a cup final, both an achievement and an opportunity to grab a slice of glory and one of the 4 pieces of silverware up for grabs in a season. Finals often exist in their own bubble, separate from form, past results and all that noise, so we could do with some of our traditional cup final magic tomorrow!

We may moan about some members of the squad, the manager and all that, but we’ve still got plenty of winners who I’m sure still have at least another 90 minutes of glory in them!

Obviously you have to be realistic and acknowledge the very realistic possibility of another pasting, but why be a fan if you can’t find a little enjoyment from being in a final, at least before the game anyway...

Like Sarri said in his recent press conference, the most important thing is not conceding an early goal like last time.

We were very much in the game for the first 5 minutes at the Etihad as pathetic as that sounds.

If we keep them scoreless for 30 plus minutes we have a chance.

Apart from a miracle or City not showing up, we aren't leaving the stadium with the trophy. I'm just thinking what could be considered an acceptable result for Roman, and for the fans to still believe we still have chance in the league game to come 3 days later. The usual tactic should be thrown out of the door for this game, just make it as difficult as it is for City, frustrate them into mistakes or moment of madness. I'd play CHO and Giroud ( not that will happen), one adds some trickery and unpredictability, the others could just hold on the ball and get on the end of hopeful crosses. Of course, NO ALOSNO for god sake.

I'm rooting for a 0:0, and win 5:3 in penalty shoot out.

Totally agree. Let’s get together and make sure we are loud and positive all game. Be good to hear Chelsea Chelsea  for twenty minutes like the old days

Remember that, on a few occasions a goal was scored and the song just went on.
