March 10, 20197 yr Author We have to be more speculative in attack and not be afraid to lose the ball high up the pitch. Dippers and city both thrive on losing the ball up field, the opposition get stuck in their own box with 4-5 dipper/city players to get past just to get out the area. Dippers jus scored an exact goal im talking about, their 2nd. We prod and poke but dont like to commit to much. This is a perfect game to be speculative in attack.
March 10, 20197 yr Kepa, Azpi, Luiz, Rudiger, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Pedro, Higuain, Hazard SUBS: Caballero, Barkley, Giroud, Christensen, Willian, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi

March 10, 20197 yr Kovacic, Really?? Played The Full 90 Midweek And Starts Today, I Think Sarri Is Starting Kovacic To Replace Him With Barkley At The 60th Minute

It's odd to want Hudson-Odoi starting over Pedro, who has shown to be far better in matches against tougher opposition and does more off the ball. Even when Sarri continues to say that Hudson-Odoi needs to improve, people think they know better. Loftus-Cheek has said he has been playing through injury and has missed games due to injury. Sarri has said basically the same thing about Loftus-Cheek, he doesn't want to rush him into lots of mins to risk injury.

March 10, 20197 yr Hopefully Wolves will have an off day and we cruise to a win comfortably. If Wolves are up for it then it’ll be a really tough game. We will need our attackers to take their chances, no more fluffing easy chances please Pedro!

The best way to stop the CHO talk is to have Pedro play like he's been playing. He went through a tough stretch after he was injured early in the season, and with Willian being Willian, the calls for CHO get louder and louder. I don't think there should be too many complaints that Pedro is starting. What's disappointing is that Willian will still come in ahead of him as well. But I've reached the acceptance stage of grief at this point. CHO isn't going to play meaningful minutes this season, but there's NO WAY Chelsea sells him in the summer with a transfer Ban, so here's hoping he can be convinced to stay next season. I'm afraid the transfer ban has made that harder too though, as Willian and Pedro are now more likely to stay. We'll see.

Sarri has said basically the same thing about Loftus-Cheek, he doesn't want to rush him into lots of mins to risk injury. He's started once against top competition and was one of our best players. And people should realize he's one step closer to the exit-door for every consecutive game he's left on the bench. And we certainly don't want to lose him.

I just want to see our best, more in form, tactically astute players playing. If there are areas of Hudson-Odoi's game which Sarri feels need improving then I have to accept his opinion as the coach.

It's been 2 months since he's had a league goal. So he's due, if he's going to get his typical return of 5 per season. I mind.... He should be getting the same minutes Giroud does.
