Man Utd vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 28th Apr 16:30 GMT

Not unhappy about the result. I think we were happy with a point, it leaves the Top 4 in our hands which is a good position to be in.

Shame Higuain couldn't put that last one away.

First time all year I saw something resembling control from Sarri, there was almost game management.

United really are a bit sh*t so it would have been a shame to lose to them. Long ball central towards the end. Luiz and Andreas handled it easily.

Neither did the players, did you see the time when Pedro was on the byline, it was 3 against 2, we had Hazard and Higuain to square it to, both of them, especially Higuain could barely be bothered running up. That's the mentality of the side, they weren't even interested or confident of trying to snatch that at the end.

You're right. Usually in a moment like that you'd be straight out of your seat as a fan, but I had absolutely no faith in us making the right decision in that moment. Seen in it too many times so I could barely get excited

Decent result. Leaves us in the driving seat for top 4 but i don't see us beating Leicester on the last day so who knows where that leaves us.

Actually woke up from a long, disturbed sleep of many dreams while being unwell last night and saw the final score board saying 1-1.

Will see if that was just odd dreams or not soon

Well there you go.

Higuan - how on earth did he stay on for 98 minutes.  Hopeless.

Atkinson - dreadful too.

Kovacic played really well before going off actually. Luiz improved a lot of second half. If only Higuaín only scored that chance at the end. Higuaín was so frustrating that game though. Was like playing with 10 men. Always offside and just not in tune with play. Will take the point but our next 2 games in the league are going to be difficult. Especially Leicester.

Kepa - 7/10
Alonso - 6.5/10 - Beaten several times for pace, which was expected. Gets forward well though and took his goal well.
Luiz - 6/10 - Lost a lot of headers and misplaced quite a few passes
Rudiger - 5.5/10 - Poor positioning and not very dominant in the air
Azpilicueta - 5/10 - I like Dave, he's a solid player, but he just offers nothing as an attacking fullback. His crosses are woeful and he never ever beats a man, he always cuts it back.
Jorginho - 6/10 - Did okay
Kante - 6/10 - Probably slightly generous, he was bossed by Pogba most of the game and broke up a few of our attacks with poor touches/passes
Kovacic - 6/10 - Still don't think we need him. He was tidy, but didn't really do a whole lot.
Willian - 5/10 - Literally can't remember a thing he did
Higuain - 1/10 - He gets 1 point for a few link ups, otherwise one of the worst ST performances in a Chelsea shirt since Torres. Although at least Torres ran about a bit.
Hazard - 6.5/10 - Quiet.

Subs:

Christensen - 6/10 - Not really tested all that much, but like our other CBs, failed to win much in the air
Loftus-Cheek - 4/10 - Poor and showed little urgency
Pedro - 6/10 - Not on for long enough to judge really

Manager:

Sarri - 5/10 - Leaving Higuain on for 90 mins was awful.

Good point and well fought all over the pitch against a team also fighting for top four. Not a nice football match but we came back and fought them all over the place despite their dirty tactics. That is what we've been wanting this season, no? The ref did not help, Rojo should have been off with a direct red and Matic should have not finished on the pitch for elbowing all our players.

Absolutely infuriates me seeing the players not trying to win the game like at the end. Hazard was literally walking for the last 20 minutes. The last corner said it all.

Higuain a waste of space. If it wasn't for the injuries I think Giroud would have been on. I don't see how a point helps us. If we had won this, a win against Watford would have guaranteed us 4th. Now it'll probably go down to the last day and we're playing Leicester away.

These players are earning 100k + A WEEK.

Higuain was a total dross yes, but how could anyone blaming Sarri for not taking him out, Kovacic was on a yellow and both Willian and Rudiger was injured. we all know if he had the option he would've subbed in Giroud as per usual

To be fair Sarri had two substitutions forced on him..

Well said Hazard. If you can come out and say playing a lot of games doesn't mean anything its how you try...that means something. Well done Eden, well done boy.

He's totally in the same bracket as Klopp and Poch, Zero titles so far. The only difference is the sun shines out of the bum of those two in the medias eyes.

I'm glad we got the point today, especially with Arsenal crashing again, but let's not kid ourselves we were poor again today. Not sure what the stats will tell us re shots on goal but we look so toothless and unlikely to score - we can than De Gea for f**king up again.

Higuian - what did he give us today? How the f**k did he remain on the pitch for the whole game? Painful to watch. Sarri supporters still maintain we are playing better football. Bar the frantic last few end to end minutes, that was yet another forgettable game and extremely boring. But hey, we're 4th so lets all pat ourselves on the back and pretend everything is great.

But we know Sarri well by now. Giroud might have got on at 80 minutes if he was lucky.
