We need a presence upfront to give us a chance. If that's the case it's Chelsea nil, just depends if united can score? Oh I've just remembered our defence.

They are talking in the middle of the park where Pogba receives the ball, Jorginho is normally behind.
April 27, 20197 yr I'm sick and tired of teams scoring worldies against us. Long range bangers you score once in your life time. United haven't scored from open play for like 5 games or something. I bet they will against us typical
April 27, 20197 yr United doesn't press as hard as teams in the top 6, so we'd probably play out from the back a bit more comfortable. However, playing false 9 is suicide as Hazard is effectively out of the game. The only success we had with false 9 this season was that game against City, because City also played false 9 and wasted clear chances before we got into the game. This is the type of game you don't want Jorginho to defend against fast wing men or Rashford, Sarri must find a way to get Kante sit in front of the defence. I reckon Ole is smart to know the best way to beat us is to defend deep and play on the counter ( also known as Park the Bus if Jose is the manager), Their best chance is get a turn over from our over passing, Pogba pop the long ball to Rahsford or Martial to catch our high line and lack of a competent DM.
April 27, 20197 yr I hope we don’t go false 9 tomorrow. Uniteds centre backs are so sh*te Giroud or Higuain shouldn’t struggle.
April 27, 20197 yr Yeah surely he realises the false 9 is a no go. Salah's goal came directly after us pinging it long in the air to Hazard which clearly is a dumb thing to do.
April 27, 20197 yr With Spurs dropping another three points we must go out there and win this. Come on lads put in a performance and give them eight losses in ten games.
April 27, 20197 yr Spurs just lost at home against West Ham, they are 3 points ahead of us. Now i know we are going to lose at Old Trafford, as we have yet another chance to level with Spurs and even compete for 3rd spot.

April 27, 20197 yr The way the teams around us are playing we could lose all our remaining fixtures and still end up fourth! (joke btw)
April 27, 20197 yr I had a dream that we beat Arsenal 6-1 in the FA Cup Final but that Eden Hazard broke his arm (compound fracture) in two places after scoring a hat trick. I don't know what to make of that. It probably mean we will beat Arsenal in the Europa League final, though I can't see us scoring 6 in a final, so its probably a 3-1 win with Hazard scoring all to secure Sarri's first trophy.
April 27, 20197 yr Unfortunately I don’t have any faith in this team to perform when it’s matters. They seem to bottle it. I also don’t see United losing 3 on the bounce I’m going for a 2-0 win for United. We will giving other teams a helping hand.

Is it actually the team or the manager is too stubborn to set up the team in the right way? We have had over 5 chances to cement a top 3 spot if only he used the right personnel & managed the games well, but every single time you just know he would screw it up. Avram Grant would have had us home & dry by now.

April 27, 20197 yr A win at ole crapfort would give Chelsea one foot into the UCL for next season - I just saw a stat where Chelsea have taken the most points off of manure in the EPL era - like Chopper Harris once said, 'Old Trafford has always been a good hunting ground for CFC' - Come on lads, live up to your potential & roll those dirty red mancs!!!
April 27, 20197 yr Hello all my Chelsea mates. I have not posted on here recently, though have watched all of the matches. Its been such a rollercoaster the past 4-6 weeks. Spurs, Arsenal and United have all lost 3 to 4 matches each in the past 6 or 7 games, yet we have not been able to take advantage, but at least we have a couple of draws in there and those extra couple of points help significantly now. We have not won at Old Trafford since May 5, 2013 on a Phil Jones own goal. Clubs that have won there since: City and Spurs (only United home losses this year), West Brom (three times), Southampton (twice), Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton. City and Spurs have won there several times since May 2013, Arsenal and Chelsea have not one win. Based on our form this year vs Top 10 on the road, and our recent results at OT, one would think a DRAW is our best hope. A Leicester win over Arsenal at home early tomorrow would take a lot of pressure off. This match is Sarri's biggest to date. His best managerial job thus far was the loss to City in the League Cup Final. Same effort and we would likely win this one. I fully expect the false 9 vs United. Sarri has rolled it out every big match this year pretty much. This is our last vs the Top 6. We are 3-2-4 in those matches with the three wins all at Stamford Bridge. This would be the perfect place for all three points. If the stars would align and we win and Arsenal lose, we would only need three points from the last two games to clinch Top 4. This is what I expect tomorrow: - - - - - - - Kepa - - - - - - Dave - Rudiger - Luiz - Emerson - Kante - Jorginho - RLC - - Willian - Hazard - Pedro - Though no chance of this, but I would put Luiz in Jorginho's place (to give some over the top balls into the box and create chaos in midfield): - - - - - - - Kepa - - - - - - Dave - Rudiger - Christensen - Emerson - - Kante - Luiz - RLC - - - - Willian - Giroud - Hazard - - Again, no chance of this line up, but would love to see Luiz muck it up in midfield like Herrera of United. I feel we need Giroud up top, certainly not Higuain. Come on you Chelsea!!

April 27, 20197 yr Not expecting anything good. Our away form is abysmal, especially against top six sides. I'm not even sure if I'm going to watch it, I keep telling myself I don't want to put myself through the torture of witnessing yet another failure and still end up watching and suffering through. I just don't have any faith in Sarri's ability to motivate and organize his players when there's something to play for. Really want to be proven wrong tomorrow.
April 27, 20197 yr Not expecting any more than a point tomorrow... Everton and liverpool away showed our frailties on the road in recent weeks. We couldn't hold on to a lead at home to burnley . What ever sarri normally says a half time, I hope he says the opposite. Then maybe we will get something from this game.
