Honestly I'm quite baffled to see you guys entertaining the idea of selling Mount, if only for the sole reason that we have like 15 guys to ship out before considering selling him!! 

The guy just turned 23, bleeds Chelsea through and through, was voted player of the season just 2 seasons ago, isn't one of the top earners and has been playing nonstop for I don't how many years now. 

He needs to improve as much as the others next to him, but I honestly don't see the point in selling someone who can be useful to any squad in the Premier League, even if at his peak we realize he's not an undisputed starter. And to do exactly what with the money? Sign Rice? Bet on finding yet another Barkley a few years from now? 

Honestly can't believe some of these posts....

 Not much between them, so we'd better keep Mount instead of another contender for the Underwhelming Player So Out On Loan You Go Award. We have quite enough of those.

Mount is still inconsistent, we know what he's capable of, and I don't know why he isn't showing that at the moment. Could be fatigue, the system, the players next to him, all of the above, you name it. With our tradition of getting a new manager every 2 seasons, the next one will probably get him going again after some rest, until the next World Cup  😛

@axman2526 you went too easy on him, didn’t get a hat-trick. Please try harder for Tuesday. 

He’s been underwhelming for a bit, but it is expected given the amount of football he’s played (and I hate the fact that Southgate gives him no rest). But if anyone does not see what a player he is, they better watch today’s match a few times. He is a very exciting player.

Still is a young boy. 10 goals and 13 assists in all comps this season. Very good return and hopefully more to come.

The performances have been patchy, but his numbers are good, 10 goals and 13 assists.

Whoever said that he needs to be sold deserves a day in the company of @Munkworth.

Yup he’s been below par this season but he still has 10 goals and 13 assists.

Imagine his numbers when he is on form all season? The talk of selling him is absolutely pathetic.

He’s easily one of our best players.

Much better today, was it Tuchel's words, Alonso on the left, Mason's new haircut or lastly Saints already on holiday? 

Anyway, hope it is the start of him being more productive again as we certainly need him on form for the rest of the season.

I will take a break from my current run of form to say he was absolutely brilliant. That was a proper Lampard display and his numbers this season have been really good.

Now with that said it is OK doing that against sh*t teams like Norwich and Saints but he really needs to step it up against the best sides, like Real, where he was a poor man's Willian on Wednesday.

I'm slightly worried how he's turning into our own Neymar with his frequent changes of hairstyle
