He's in a terrible slump for whatever reason. Hope he gets over them soon.

He's one of the few we have that actually puts a shift in

Did he pick up Covid in the last month or too? I remember him being out for a while due to sickness. wouldn't underestimate that impact if so. Remember it took Havertz a long time to return after Covid

Not sure about Covid, but he had some impactful jaw surgery.

Having slump is perfectly fine.

I've been in a slump since I started working, but thankfully it's not a job where millions of people watch and slaughter me on social media

🤣🤣🤣😁😷

It is very rare for young attacker to be good every game. The one who does is either has easy role or just too good.

Just look at Hazard, even when he was on bad form,he still looked good because football is just too easy for him

Depends on your point of view....

Big improvement from Mason last night. Looked dangerous throughout the game.

I quite like when he plays a little deeper, I think he's energy and aggression works well in the midfield and sometimes we don't get the full benefit of that when he's high up the pitch.

His energy and having Kovacic nearby and Jorginho behind is a good combination. He clearly picked up a little bit of Lampard and a little bit of Kante, future captain.

Bar Norwich that was probably his best performance of the season. I like him deeper too, Ziyech gave us what we've been missing from Mount in attacking areas and Mount did well as an 8.

The best thing is that he's only getting started, future captain in my eyes...

Hopefully the injury isn't as bad as it looks.

hope also but Thomas said in post match presser it’s serious because of apparent ligament ankle damage

We is a season for Injuries. Why not add our most consistent forward presence to the list too.

I had a feeling it was bad. I seen a video of him trying to celebrate Havertz goal but as soon as he put pressure on his foot, he was in a lot of pain and hopping around. At the same time though, ankle ligament damage isn't always that bad. I have sprained my ankle 3 times in my life, it hurts like hell and I couldn't put any pressure on my foot for a while, but I fully recovered in two weeks.

I just hope it's not his achilles tendon, because that is a bastard and often ruins players. Just look what it did to Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek. I fear an injury to the achilles tendon more than an ACL injury. Players young enough tend to recover from an ACL injury, but players rarely return to their normal selves when they tear their achilles tendon.
