Just got back after listening to bits of the first half on radio in the motor, Clinton Morrison co-commentating said we had the better of the first half, but doesn't look like it on here.

Azpi for Alonso is the move to make at half time. The open highway on his side is the root of many of our problems tonight.

It was a dive though. 

Alonso is being rinsed. Utd's tactics have been working well. Overload on our left side, force it long then get the first and 2nd balls because our front 3 are small and Batshy can't trap a ball to save his life.

The penalty was extremely soft

I don't think so tbh, we've got bullied in the midfield, but there hasn't been chances in the game for either side. 

Definitely the dullest I've seen us play all season, we can't get an attack going.

He looks solid because Utd overloads our left.

The problem is we have 3 defensive midfielders. none of them is willing to run and join into the attack, they are just passing for passing sake. Looking more like sarri ball today

I think we need to play more wide in the second half, it looked like it's simply impossible to break their defense through the middle. James had a good cross but it didn't connect...hope for a better second half, someone needs to create a chance.

Trailing 0-1 from a very soft pen that over the weekend would not have been given  despite VAR

this ref is one of the worst in the prem (although most of them are sub par hence the VAR debacle currently)

All yarnited have is a couple good defenders and are pegging us back w a high press

Bats & Gilmour do need to be subbed off though

I thought we were very poor. We have probably had more of the ball, but we have done nothing with it and we are very sloppy and slow. It's like we aren't playing with the same intensity that we have seen in every other game this season.

you can still do. to be honest i have been watching both games. Its an absolute cracker. With cracking goals

The modified of Jorginho Kovacic and Gilmoure is a little too defencive. All seem to like playing deeper and don't really offer any attacking threat. 

Will be interesting to see what Lampard does now. Been the worst half of performance from the team under him so far I think. 

Been a quite awful match so far. Lacking quality and chances both ways.
