They wanted €90m up front so let's be careful which currency we're quoting here...which is £81m...

Some people you just can't please it seems.

We've signed Werner and Ziyech and look likely to sign Havertz, Chillwell and Thiago Silva and people are still complaining

We are basically having one of our best ever transfer windows and yet people are still not happy. Literally ridiculous

Signing one of the world's most coveted young players for a fee that doesn't even put him into the world's top 10 most expensive transfers is good business if you ask me.

Your opinion...let's not get caught up in the buying hype...

BILD in Germany reported this:

80 Millionen Euro soll Chelsea demnach sofort überweisen.

Means, 80m EUR up front. 10m if chelsea reaches top four in the next five years and 10m more if he wins any silverware with chelsea (FA Cup, CL, PL)

Bild in Germany is always a reliable source when it comes to football rumours.

Who's complaining?

Only player I think is reasonable to "complain" about is Chilwell because of the fee. Aside from that it looks to be one of the best windows we've had in a long time, at least on paper

What a signing if we get this done.

Missing a goalie but there’s always someone unhappy. It is a bit exciting this window first one I can recall feeling happy about since hazard.

I think we have passed the 48 hour mark and the 24 as well...Kai to be announced tomorrow, welcome to the best club in London.

What on earth is really happening with this,God if we're not getting him the club wants to put a message out.

I have no idea, but Im not going to say anything until I've seen him hold up the Chelsea shirt!

When was the last time we didn't finish in the four or win silverware for five years? I'm not complaining though, I'm glad we've moved on from our habit of signing some very average players in recent years.

Soon enough! He's a blue.
