December 26, 20196 yr We were so good going forward at the start of the season. Idk what happened since then...
December 26, 20196 yr Massive letdown after an impressive performance on the weekend. January cannot come soon enough. We need to get proactive in the transfer market.
December 26, 20196 yr Simply not good enough. Our start again dictated the pace of the match. Far too sloppy with zero intensity. This is a hard league, you have to put maximum effort into all games or results like this will be the norm. Players and manager need to address this fast.

December 26, 20196 yr These home performances and results really take the shine off our good away results. We won't be top 4 for long when we keep getting turned over by mid to bottom sides at home. It's not a fluke anymore it seems to be a reccurent theme. The Bridge used to be a tough venue for teams all over to come to but now I genuinely feel we would do well to get a point against anyone. Big changes are needed and it's going to cost big money despite what some people on here seem to think

December 26, 20196 yr I think we'll be ok v Arsenal and if you'd told me back in August that we'd be top 4 half way through the season I'd have been happy but we need to sort out a way to play at home as there's only 3 or 4 sides who are going to come here and play an attacking game, the others will all copy Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham.

December 26, 20196 yr Lampard is an absolute legend and my favorite player of all time. Managing is not for him though. Doesn't have the mental toughness. He's too easygoing and mellow with the players.
December 26, 20196 yr The most bothering thing about these home losses is that we don't even test the opposing goalkeepers. Thankfully our next 2 games are away
December 26, 20196 yr We are so sh*t at home, doesn't even matter what formation we play. The only solution is to build a new stadium ?

December 26, 20196 yr Why are we so hesitant to take shots from distance? At any distance really. This walking the ball in crap isn't doing it and it never really worked.
December 26, 20196 yr What a let down after Spurs, as good as we were there we were poor today. Disappointed with Frank, he knows Southampton are in a relegation fight, he knows Reece and Alonso are injured why then not start Mount instead of erratic CHO. He underestimated the opposition. There was a sequence of play just before their second when they looked better man for man than us.
December 26, 20196 yr It wouldn't be so bad if we drew these games 0-0. But we have literally lost at home the exact same way to West ham, Bournemouth and now Southampton. Start really slowly, no intensity and then as the match goes on the opposition start to think "we'll actually win this if we can score first". And then it's happened every time. It's turned into a guarenteed winning formula for the opposition. Edited December 26, 20196 yr by 2211

We're on a good run but have been playing the teams around us, you can beat the bigger clubs but not doing great at home to clubs from lower down recently! So who know? I knot it's a bit soon after the final whistle to get many (if any) congratulation but, I was quietly confident of getting a result today. It would be interesting to know what you thought of us today. Did we play well or if you think it was just Chelsea having a bad day!

December 26, 20196 yr These home defeats have rendered the result against Spurs absolutley worthless.

Maybe in hindsight we shouldn't be playing a 5 man at the back against your team...
