Chelsea v Arsenal (PL) Tue 21st Jan 20:15 GMT

No idea what our best team is at the moment. The only players I have confidence in are Reece who is injured and Tammy who can’t do it all on his own.

It seems that Alonso and James are not injured? IMO Barkley is in good form and from the recent few games he deserves a start over Mount that has played a lot, I wouldn't drop Kante, we won 3:0 and had 70% possession without Kovacic.

Uhmm and without Kante... Funny how you think we win a game because Kovacic isn't playing but when we win games without Kante it has nothing to do with Kante not playing at all.

It just seems that it's so hard to know what team is going to show up.  I have no confidence lately of how any game is going to go but one thing is for certain if the back 4 start passing sideways and backwards in the first minute or so we're screwed.  We have lost every game when the game starts in that fashion, it sets the pattern for the remaining 89 mins....fed up lately of lacksie daisicle football and missed opportunities to ensure Utd, Spurs and Arsenal stay out of the top 4.  Sorry I'm not as optimistic as I should be; This game just might end up as a bore draw.

Match day.

Come on Chelsea !

Match Prediction is 2-1 us

Our first scorer:Tammy Abrahams 57th min.

Can't see the Match Prediction Thread and I'm off to work soon !

Hope this is okay.

Artea seemed to be bullish ahead of this game, maybe they are attempting to do a WestHam or Newcastle on us. We should be favourite, but if we keep up the awful finishing from Saturday, could see them getting something. To be fair, both teams have been pretty ordinary this year so far, game to be finished by a defensive mistake or someone's brillance. I'd worry if James doesn't play or Emerson starts, think Pepe will carve up him.

Not for me. If we are to ever play a back three again it has to be with Reece RCB and Lamptey at wingback.

Serious question @Argo, has Reece ever played RCB for us or anyone?  Or any centre back position, come to that?

They are looking forward to Reece vs Saka contest.

In the week when Rashford has been played recovering form a minor injury will Frank be put off risking Reece for this one?

Well, Reece was only a bruising, while Rashford according to reports has been feeling pain for the last 11 months which is ridiculous from United, to not to do anything about it until now.

Both cases are hardly comparable.

Good to know it is just bruising though the Rashford situation seems strange.

Really have no idea what to expect tonight. What Chelsea or what Arsenal turn up is hard to say. Both sides with obvious flaws.
We should be confident though as they’re missing their best striker and their defence isn’t great. If Arteta is smart he’ll have them sit in and not go toe to toe with us but it’s not easy for Arsenal to play like Southampton even if that’s their level now.

I’m going for 2-1 to the Blues.

I know he was quite effective in midfield for Wigan. But I haven't ever heard of him turning out as a center back.

Not in the first team but it was his position when he made that massive burst in the youth team. I know it's a different level in the first team but in a back three I actually think he suits that position more than wing back.

He can sling some lovely balls on to Tammys head ala Dave & Morata (but this time the striker isn’t a complete head case )!
