Hé even had most interceptions and duels won in this game, so defensively he was excellent as well

He can be frustrating, but he is unique in sense that he always is looking to make something happen. Whether that is a shot or pass, sometimes like today, it reaps it's rewards. His goal and assist ratio is not that bad when you consider he is regularly rotated out the team.

 

I believe the different formation made an impact on him.

He looked different today, he played better and had more opportunities to create chances. Just like his goal.

He put a very good performance and I hope his form will continue for the rest of the season.

Well done indeed and kudos to @Argo and whoever else kept some faith as he was getting panned. Does seem to be something about the formation as  @IliyaKrostin mentioned, and Tuchel too. All about getting that shape right that enables him to get those chances to do damage? Before we get carried away, though, let’s not forget this was Tottenham - how on earth are they so close to us in the table!

Just look at how helpless Lloris is there. Unbelievable strike.

It really is artistic perfection 

Ziyech was brilliant in that game. He is a street-artist. He loves to surprise people but his workrate is under appreciated. He really tries to play how TT wants him to play. He doesn't sulk either which is something artists many times do. With Marocco he apparently did.

Really hoping Ziyech finds some rhythm and keeps this up. His teammates seem to like him and he has skills no one else in the squad have. Mainly crossing, diagonal balls and shooting.

Interestingly enough Matic doesn't think that goal was his best, even though some say it's the best goal ever in the history of the FA Cup.

"It's not a derby, maybe a long time ago" - Implying that Spurs are so sh*t lol
