December 16, 20214 yr I would actually sell Ziyech, Werner, and Pulisic tbh. When you look at what we are competing against, these 3 just dont produce regularly enough for me. Havertz i can see hope, he has moments of real class, and I think eventually he will be great. Mount is our best forward by a country mile, but even his finishing and end product needs work. CHO i would also keep around, I think he will explode in the next year or 2.
December 16, 20214 yr This guy was supposed to be the finished product yet is more hit and miss every game than half our youngsters. We might as well swap him with Richarlison
December 16, 20214 yr First half i was really impressed, second half he faded away. But he has been one of our better players in recent weeks.
December 16, 20214 yr I’d definitely sell him. He’s too inconsistent and I don’t see that changing any time soon. He was supposed to be this creative wizard that can unlock defences with his left foot, well I think Alexei Smertin showed more creativity when he was here.

I agree, for every good pass or shot he does it's outnumbered by 4 bad things. The sloppy passes or the overhit crosses you could forgive if he was a youngster, and then if he can be bothered to try and win the ball back you just know he's gonna give away a foul in the process. Negatives far outweigh the positives with this guy. Any offers in January I think we should accept, this move hasn't worked out for him or us.
December 17, 20214 yr Agree with most, at his age he should not be getting so much wrong in the final third. A couple of times he broke free, just have to whip the cross in and be chaos in the 6 yards, choose to shot or completely over hitting it. We need Tuchel to get his own players in, and Ziyech is among the top pick to make room for that to happen.

His 2 signings have been a £92m “monstrosity” in Lukaku (excuse the pun), and Saul. With his lack of flexibility, if it goes tits up we will be screwed.

With his lack of flexibility, if it goes tits up we will be screwed. Tuchel and all chelsea managers are just one voice in the room. I get the impression the club really want Rice, which is why we didnt go for Tchouameni, and also why we didnt bring in another body permanently. If that is the case, im glad we are thinking more long term. If we hadnt had injuries, Saul would have barely played. He still hasnt been usee much despite the injury crisis. Thank god. Lukaku I would give it until the end of season before judging him. 1st 5 games he looked decent, been injured hasnt been good simce he returned, but its games like last night he was brought in to win us, and unfortunately he missed that one and Burnley, both games a hungry striker gets 2 or 3 with the amount of chances in the game.
December 17, 20214 yr Not chelsea quality - how he has managed to play so many games for us is beyond me. Should be moved on - way to inconsistent. Its a pipe dream to think he will score even 10 goals for us as a forward in a season.
December 23, 20214 yr https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/59769523 Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech has not been recalled to Morocco's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations next month. The 28-year-old missed all six of his country's 2022 World Cup qualifiers this year, and has not played for the Atlas Lions since a friendly against Burkina Faso in July.

Man we just cannot catch a break can we?
December 23, 20214 yr Hopefully his full availability, subject to fitness, will be of great interest to Newcastle :-)
January 5, 20224 yr He hasn't played a single minute after the Wolves game. And I was pretty surprised he didn't get the chance against Liverpool, when we were obviously chasing a goal. Not sure what exactly is going on here...

TT has moved on from his USA hate and now dislikes Moroccans lmao.
January 5, 20224 yr He has be linked with a move away so I did wonder if maybe he's preparing for a transfer away. Yet TT does do this with players sometimes he just drops them and doesn't play them for ages and then you're back in the team and you get a run. If he doesn't play today or the weekend I'm pretty convinced he's gone and they're trying to avoid any potential injuries. I personally would like to keep him until at least the end of the season. I actually would prefer to keep all of our fwds despite their misfiring or lack of fit to the current system. However, of all our attackers we could move due to age and ceiling Hakim would be the one I'd personally shift. Edit https://www.chelsea-news.co/2022/01/chelseas-top-xg-performers-set-to-get-platform-to-earn-first-team-places-this-week/ Hakim amongst a few others are our top xg performers, which is interesting if they can't start turning these stats into goals that would be great Edited January 5, 20224 yr by LongtimerLurker

I remember that one where he had a clear shot at the goal and hit it too centrally (is that a word?) but other than that I only remember one from outside the box that was ok-ish. Anyway, I think he has much improved in the last months.

Let's hope for more clinical finishing and more playing time.

We seem to have a thing for potential world class volleys in front of the goal - Alonso tried one too against Pool I think. Not sure I'd call that poor finishing and his other options seemed limited - though I might be off with that. In total we should have won at minimum 3:0. Havertz wasting that one clear cut chance chance as well, although I guess he thought about being offside one milisec too long. Didn't expect the display today, nice seeing Sarr and Saul (and Lukaku..ouch) doing their part quite well.

January 6, 20224 yr His Robben shots are terrible but his passing was obscenely good at times. The pass that Werner fluffed is godly. Edited January 6, 20224 yr by Deino
