He just needs to keep playing as a striker, Lampard should try to play him again with Tammy or Giroud.

Playing behind the striker centrally suits him, this is where he played for years in Germany. This is the first time he's played in his usual position this season. Hopefully lampard stops experimenting and keeps him in that free role, he's better than the more woeful Havertz anyways

 

One thing I love about Timo is that he works so hard, no matter how much sh*tty luck he’s getting.

Goals? Okay, from your perspective Drogba must be a really sh*t striker too. He scored more than 20 goals only twice out of 9 seasons.

Werner is already on 9 goals.

Confidence is shot but I still have faith. The day I give up on him is if he's still crap after playing a number of games in his strongest position, as there will be no excuses.

How much time do you want to give Werner and Havertz? I guess if they get us promoted out of the Championship next season they will come good!?

Yes, that's a joke but our current run of form (which started 3 months ago) is relegation material. We have no one with leadership, bite or courage in the locker room so the Germans' awful form has totally ruined the team. Timo looks like about as bad of a signing as Sebastian Haller and only slightly better than Joelinton. We should try to include him in a deal for Haaland so we can get 20-30 million off the fee. And sell Havertz too or put him on loan to a Championship club or struggling PL club would do him some good.

Certainly more than half a season with no preseason and a manager who is still learning his trade through all this weirdness.

A goal every 0.43 games for us. Werner is currently scoring every 0.32 games for us playing on the wing. Funny thing is i imagine Drogba would have had fickle fans like you saying he was sh*t and couldn't stay on his feet after the first season at Chelsea.

Do you just blindly love ever player Chelsea has ever signed and hate any fan with a differing opinion than yours?

Do you even watch the matches? Werner played about 5-6 league matches on the wing while we had injuries to our wingers but yes that is the reason for all of his problems and not scoring in near odd 15 games now. He was put on the wing to help his team win, he should be so grateful to get that opportunity. Instead he sulks, doesn't complete key passes, can't beat a man, misses shots off target constantly, can't convert penalties. The 1 goal he scored in this horrendous run was a tap in against a 4th division side. We've lost 6 of our last 9 PL games and have only scored 8 goals in that span. When a club pays 50 million pounds for a player, he's supposed to deliver - quit making excuses for him and stop comparing him to Drogba. We're not good enough. Werner is not good enough. Open your eyes mate.

We tried early in the season, you can see the problem. No suitable partner for kante. We need an am who can hold the ball (Havertz struggled big time at this), we need our attacker/winger to run more (only two player in midfield so somebody need to run more like what Oscar and Willian did for us)

I feel as though we have to play Giroud or Tammy in the Centre Forward role and Werner & Kai need to be competing for the role behind the striker. 

Maybe next season when the 2 have settled and are playing with confidence playing Werner and Kai Centrally could be a decent partnership but currently I don't think we can afford not playing Tammy or Giroud up front.

He didn’t get him fired though, Lamps just didn’t play to his strength. Admittedly he has missed loads of chances.
