That was f**king unjust. They shouldn't have been given enough time to take it.

He already blew the final whistle when Brighton cleared the ball!

Probably the 1 time in 100 that United win that game ... very unlucky for Brighton ... the football gods were red today ...

United had £454M of starters in that game and another £122M on the bench ... and they got owned by Brighton most of the game LOL

Tbh only the points matter.

United were gifted them by blatant cheating yet again.

There was 5 minutes of added time, so very unlucky not to have the whistle blown immediately after the Brighton equaliser ...

Other adjectives are available.

Liverpool are catching up, but Man Utd are the luckiest team in pl history. Even when they were a genuinely good side under fergie, Remarkable how many games they have won over the years without playing very well.

From the BBC site:

Brighton 2-3 Man Utd

Literally the last kick of the game.

And referee Chris Kavanagh blows full-time for a second time.

What a thriller!

How the f**k can you blow for full-time twice in a game?! That’s Just blatant cheating, not a thriller.

On a positive note the win keeps OGS in the job that much longer and will ease the pressure for further signings.

Give this team to a semi competent manager and they will be right up there challenging.

If that was the other way around, the whistle would have been blown on 95 minutes. Amazing how they can find those extra few minutes to give United one more chance to win the game.

Nothing wrong with VAR being used after the final whistle to pick up on something the ref missed. A hell of a lot wrong with finding an extra 1m20s after the board showed 5 mins.

That was my issue with it. The penatly decision was correct, but where did they get that added time from? United fans are as usual coming out with all of the excuses and saying the celebrations are the reason for the added time, but the goal was scored right near the end of added time and they still manage to find an extra minute and a half to add on.

You can be certain that if this was the other way around, the final whistle would have blown after the equaliser.

Apparently the game is still going and it is now 5-2 to Manchester United ...

4th goal was a penalty given by VAR in the 113th minute and the 5th was a penalty also given by VAR in the 125th minute

Cause for me, if I am in Potters shoes, I would get the players off and be like "if you want to carey on playing after the final whistle you go for it, but you called full time and we are done"

What is James Rodriguez doing at Everton by the way? No disrespect to Everton, but Rodriguez should be playing Champions League football. I can't believe one of the top clubs in Europe couldn't find a way to fit somebody with his quality into their team.

Why was Brighton's penalty over turned by VAR? Didn't United get a penalty against Tottenham exactly like that last season? It certainly wasn't a clear and obvious error from the ref.

How in the name of f**k is that an Everton penalty? 3 games Into this season and VAR has almost got me giving up on the game. f**king abysmal.

It's the rules of the game not a VAR issue blame FIFA, the refs are just following the rules

Honestly with how VAR is being used and no fans football is not the same game and pretty meaningless imo.
