I'll be surprised if City don't win the league by a Country mile.

I prefer them to win over any other team that is currently in form. Maybe Leicester I guess.

Been Fulhams best player 2nd half

Should've had a goal but a decent save from De Gea.

Yeah I’ve watched the last 20 mins or so, he looked really good. Best I have seen him since that injury.

Where are all the condemnations of footballers totally ignoring the rules about goal celebrations and close contact from our wonderful pundits and print media?

A tiny bit of a row sparked off in the news when the lower league clubs appeared on the telly in the FA Cup, and then nothing.

I only saw the goals from the matches last night, but the celebrations in both matches ignored the rule not to hug, embrace or even shake hands.  Guardiola even kissed one of his players.

I think it should be a yellow card offence, and if that means a second yellow, off you go.  It would soon stop it.

It's not that I care about whether healthy young men catch and spread the disease between themselves (though some would have you believe the reason Havertz seems to be unable to trap a football is because he had exactly that) but what it does do is send a message to all the f**kwits watching that it is OK to ignore the regulations and just mingle in anyway that they want to.

OK, today's rant over.

I've heard managers, players etc say that it's very difficult to curb emotions after scoring a goal or winning a match. What a load of twaddle. I'm sure that nearly all of us have wanted to hug or kiss or even shake someone's hand when we see them but we've had to learn not to. I live alone and since March last year I've only given one person a hug and that it is one of sisters and she is in my bubble. She was going through a bad patch and I thought it was right and proper.

I watched the Chelsea women's team play Man. Utd on Sunday and after the scoring of the two goals there was a couple of pats on the back but celebrations were restrained so it is possible that footballers can curb their emotions etc. If the rest of the population can curb their desires to hug etc so can footballers and other sports people. After all, they've only scored a goal, run or try and those are nothing compared to people wishing to hug a relative or friend especially one who is nearing the end of their life.

Footballers and other sports people have complained that they are being picked upon. If they continue to celebrate they will continue to receive criticism.

My rant over!

Is anyone else's reaction to seeing Oxlade-Chamberlain on a Liverpool teamsheet "oh yeah, forgot about him..."?

And to think it was only four years ago that Conte wanted to sign him as a wing-back...

Wasn't there an exciting spell of one half that he played very well?

Still, the poor guy had an awful injury.

Still looks pretty good to be fair. Interesting that Klopp has opted for Shaqiri in the middle over the past couple of games (and today Oxlade-Chamberlain subbing in for Salah).

Thiago-Wijnaldum-Shaqiri isn't the type of trio of midfield bar stewards we've become accustomed to from this Liverpool side.

How biased is this commentary in the Liverpool Burnley game, Fabinho with a clear kick out at Westwood and Carragher says nothing wrong with that.

Not saying its a red but at least acknowledge the obvious kick out.

Burnley are going to be no walkovers for us next week

Dont expect them to be,  is up to us to play well. If we do, we beat them. Simple.

Dyche is a genius. Proper old school style of football. Every player knows exactly what he has to do. I absolutely love that!

Can't believe some were thinking Burnley would get relegated after a bad start. Not a chance while Dyche is in charge.

One thing this says we are f**ked when Burnley comes to Stamford bridge

I won’t celebrate as yet until we play Burnley they will come and I expect them to do exactly the same as what at they just did at Anfield

Not celebrating myself. However Liverpool wasted many chances and is up to us to perform. Not looking for charity. Looking for us to earn it with quality.
