Good run out and some great individual displays from Tammy, Kai and Willy.

That's a good confidence and fitness booster.

Tammy or Werner for the next game, be rough to drop Tammy after such a display but that's what we need.

Only positives from that showing.

Excuse me? He's barely done anything up until the last 15 minutes or so. Barkley and Kovacic both been better, despite Barkley still making some crappy mistakes and that terrible miss

OK

Good game. We are terrible at defending. How we managed to keep a clean sheet is beyond me.

Big Willy between the sticks + Big balls blocking

Don't get the hate for Mount. Very rarely let's us down

Seems some are looking for any chance to call him out... the kid (he's still a kid) hardly puts a foot wrong and when he does he usually makes up for it by continuously working his gd butt off

Enjoyed that ... granted a few mistakes, but everyone did something decent at least once, so absolutely no need for any sort of witch hunt. Well done the team.

This season is going to be a joyous experience methinks ?

There will still definitely be one on social media though

We can easily accomodate both by playing Werner on the left, with Tammy at centre forward.

a confidence building result but we mustn't be fooled - we haven't sorted out the defence yet and that is becoming Frank's huge weakness.

if I were in his shoes I'd stick with Willy and Silva and try to build around them

I'd start them both. Tammy through the middle, Werner on the left.

Going to need Tammy's size to compete against the tank that is Ivanovic in WBA's defence.

He is a hard worker and has talent. He's not going to be amazing every game but I've yet to see him have a really bad game.

Enjoyable game, instant rapport between Havertz and Abraham was great to see. Defensive issues still need work and aren't going to be solved by throwing four random players onto the pitch against Barnsley. The serious work starts Saturday against west Brom.

Ref looked embarrassed, should be professional and give it, but he deliberately waved that off, ah well didn’t matter.

What about the goalkeeper not getting sent off when we were only two up? Or am I biased in thinking that's a stonewall red. The commentator didn't seem to say anything about it should be being a red card. I see what you mean about embarrassed...there was an odd look on his face I couldn't quite put my finger on it but embarrassed fits perfectly

That was as close to an old-school 4-4-2 as we're likely to see a good side play in the modern game.

Fun to watch, although I'm surprised Mount adapted to it better than Hudson-Odoi. I am thoroughly unsurprised Ross Barkley looked perfectly at home.

Chilwell looks quality, Frank was grinning when Giroud scores but I don’t think  because Giroud scored but because his 50mil man that everyone questioned put in a good ball fur the assist

I was very happy with that cross. One of my main gripes is how so many of our players cannot put in a decent cross even when they're not under pressure.

For me Barkley almost MOTM knitting everything together through the middle, though should have had two.

Havertz with the hatrick has MOTM though apart from his finishing did not stand out too much, good at spreading the play wide.

Abraham great poaching to get the first goal and note seems to have a good bond with Havertz.

Kova solid today.

CHO on the right seemed to be a winger specialising in passing backwards except one occasion when Mount played a killer ball back to him and he crossed well.

Better on the right at 5-0 up, remains an enigma.

Giroud, good to see him score after some time out, and a good cross from Chilwell.

Emerson was ok and surprisingly did ok on the right.

Willy had to be on his toes, Barnsley had a real go and might have scored first.

Silva did ok though at one moment thought he was going to hand-ball it to stop a Barnsley break.

At 6-0 a good game for us and a good confidence booster, Havertz off the mark in style and both Tammy and Olli score.

Barkley shows his squad usefulness again with a strong display.

Play them both, use werner off the left.

Havertz didnt stand out much? Hat trick, and shouldve had 2 assists in 60 minutes. Thought he was excellent, also won the ball back alot as well.

Agree with the rest though, i thought Abraham was excellent, and showed the link up play we saw last autumn

Enjoyable match

Despite the emphatic scoreline we made a few mistakes and if some of the early chances had gone in who knows if we would have enjoyed it as much

Barkley and Kovacic don't make a good pairing defensively

Havertz had some good touches and took his goals like a proven goalscorer. He an Abraham look to have built some rapport

CHO looked better on the left , conversely Emerson looked better at right wing

Good first appearances by Silva and Chilwell

Willy got his shot stopping in place not sure Kepa would have saved all of them
