January 16, 20215 yr Happy for the 3 points. Az can’t put in a cross to save his life. Werner need to step his game up. Hudson is the man of the match for me. Can you imagine if Fulham was playing with 11?
January 16, 20215 yr Don't think you can blame Warner atm there is only 1 or 2 performing atm and he has just lost his touch hopefully he will regain.

January 16, 20215 yr That was a scrappy win but we were envying Manure for how they were grinding out lucky and scrappy wins. So first step towards recovery.
January 16, 20215 yr Well 3 points, but that looked uncomfortable at times. this has papered over the cracks
January 16, 20215 yr Rudiger and Silva were ok at the back , and CHO and Mount were decent today. The rest were deeply disappointing, and poor old Azpi is totally gone at this level I'm afraid. Question is, whether a new manager could get a better tune out of what is on paper a talented squad ? You'd have to think yes ...

January 16, 20215 yr We may have won but the team still has the same problems that has cost us games in this bad run of games. Ironically, we looked much better on the break after the goal.

January 16, 20215 yr 3 minutes ago, coco said: no i wouldnt judge a manager on one game. Neither would I. That's why I said end of Jan. If we look this dire at the end of the month, after leicester, burnley and wolves. Then we will be picking up 1, 3 maybe 4 points. There's no excuses for this run of form and if it lasts 2 months then it's not form anymore, it's something wrong with the entire set up. I'm in two minds about whether we just wait until the summer with lampard or get an interim in so we have a chance in the CL to do something. But I'm starting to have absolutely no hope Lampard knows what he's doing. Edited January 16, 20215 yr by bisright1

January 16, 20215 yr Frank got lucky with the sending off, we almost didn't take advantage of it Our play is so slooooooow and predictable, midfield is devoid of creativity Good finish by Mount, one of the few players who can hold their head up today CHO again had a good cameo...will it be good enough to get a start? A win is a win but should be doing better with the players available?

The silver lining is that he is getting into the right positions ... much more so than the other two strikers ... sooner or later you'd think the goals HAVE to come ...

Pulisic should be benched, in Dortmund Sancho benched him and CHO looks better than him. At least Ziyech can pass. This win was all down to Jorginho. We were much better when he f**ked off
January 16, 20215 yr Tell you what , if we showed the same spirit, commitment and effort that Fulham showed today, I'd be a lot happier
January 16, 20215 yr So does this mean that in the next game we will see the 4-3-3 once again with Kante, Kovacic and Mount and CHO will once again be on the bench? I don't think we are good enough to challenge for the top 4 position at all, I see no improvement here, we barely managed to win against 10 men here and it's a real bottom feeder Fulham that we should have won comfortably by at least 2 goals difference.
