Dave aside, our finishing has been shocking and we should be more than one goal up. That’s at least a clear sign of improvement over recent games.

Was very impressed with CHO’s awareness for the goal, he knew exactly where to put the ball without even looking. Presumably he would have got a shout from Dave as he launched himself into the box. Overall a very good team goal.

Omg I love Thomas, Abraham off for Puli and Werner goes up top. I think Werner will score this is the shape I want to see!

Agreed. I was quite surprised at how open and fast-paced the game has been. It has created quite a bit of space, which Kova?i? in particular has exploited well - his passing has been really positive.

Could be miles ahead if Mount and Werner had finished the multiple chances they've had. Overall I think that was a positive half. If Kanté is ready to start the Tottenham game I think there is reason to be cautiously optimistic...

That Mason Mount has been pretty good other than his shooting. Why didn’t Frank use him more often?

You do if you're a player that can only play one way. At Leipzig, everything was played quick too him and he was often in 1v1 battles with defenders. With us, he is more often than not playing against a packed defence. He's learning that Premier League defences set up much differently that they do in Germany.

Mount is our best player, he tries everything. On the other hand, I think that Alonso is a bit of a liability. At least with Chilwell you get more defensive cover.
