Abraham and Werner are so awful in this half. Kovacic is running the game again. Azpilicueta should teach Werner and Mount how to shoot in run. Great goal.

I'm lucky that I'm Chelsea fan because to watch this game isn't that fun. Burnley are sitting back, putting the long balls and waiting for free-kicks, corners. 

We're good in possession, we're dealing good with long balls and physical battles in the defense. 1-0 is not enough here. Against Aston Villa they were losing 1-0 also, in the second half they won the game.

Look decent my concern is wingbacks when we have some really good wingers seems wasteful and if we play ziyech at 10 we have him mount and havertz for one spot, seems like a waste of resources

If we play like this against Atletico the closest we'll get to goal is 30 meters.

Anyway we need to score another one as soon as possible. They can always be threatening from a set piece.

Important goal from Dave. It provides reward for effort and may give us a spring in our step in the 2nd half.

Thought we played pretty well for 3 quarters of the pitch, we didnt keep possession for possessions sake and most sequences ended in a shot. 

The finishing though has been utterly abysmal, either weak efforts, that barely reach pope, or complete miscues that end up high and wide. 

Thank god Azpi poppee up to shot the rest how to make a decent connection with the ball! 

Abraham and Werner both very poor.

Mount decent apart from his shooting. 

Kovacic has been progressive.

Cho looks dangerous.

Jorginho adequate.

Alonso off the pace a bit as expected.

back 3 have been comfortable.

Hope we get a couple more second half.

Werner unbelievably useless and it looks beyond a lack of confidence. And can Tammy even control his bladder?

Yeah he's definitely not a winger. The problem is he's been so bad he doesn't warrant starting up front. 

We don't play those long balls he obviously thrived on in Germany so don't see how he fits into our side.

most annoying thing though is McFannymans commentary ?...did he really actually play the game ? 

Another half with Jorginho where we didn't just surrender. Another half where CHO is playing well. The 2 constants of the season.

So far the balance between def - mid - off is pretty good. Only our fowards are letting us down a bit. 

Although we are 1-0 up, apart from CHO and Mount we look too slow. Kovacic has looked bright too. I would have preferred we lined up with a 4-3-3 tbh. We destroyed Burnley in the reverse fixture with that formation. 

Need to get the second now and up the pace.

We could sub in Kante for Jorginho, but kante won't put his foot on it and look to pass, anyway listen to sir Glenn saying Werner and Mount giving the mids freedom to play, bring Giroud on for Tammy, impressed with Alonso and his professionalism, plus as you know i rate him as a super Football player...

Pulisic & Ziyech have both been poor for a while though, they need to work back for their spaces.

I understand why he is using a back 3; a run of clean sheets + wins gives him a solid platform to transform into a back 4

Werner is mental you don't go from being one of the best in Germany and  internationally to sh*t in 6 months it doesn't happen.

I still believe in him....
