Yeah I agree. In that situation though I saw one quick replay and it looked the defender turned his hand to the ball. It wasn't a hard hit either. Anyway I like the new interpretion of the rule better.

Totally agree the rule needed amended but you can understand folks confusion when they do sh*t like they mid season.
