Yep. I made the same comment in a past recent game. They need to play a bit of fifa and learn about the triangle "through" ball.

Mount and Kovacic make mistakes and sometimes have a poor decision-making but in the last few games they have been the main reason why we were able to move possession forward and keep a high tempo and high standard going throughout the whole game.

I'm actually a big fan of false 9 these days, with the correct personnel and tactical approach it can be devastating as Liverpool showed when Firmino was at his peak.

Yes but it wouldn't have effected his run. Now if the gk doesn't take him down he's left with nothing.

I haven't been too impressed with his decision making and finishing. If it wasn't for his speed I don't think he'd be at the top level going on what I've seen from him for us.

Kovacic is at least trying to play players in, but he seems to lack the ability to actually pull it off.
