This is it, an early couple of goals to settle the nerves would be nice. Fully expect a 98th minute 1-0 winner today, just not sure from which side...

refs side?

I am on a diet, from yesterday already

I guess the irony for me going into matchday 38 is that we play away. You would assume that  were we at home and had the fans it would be enough. Ironically, under TT we have never lost away and only ever at home and mutual (Fa cup final). So following the trend I would argue it won't matter too much the home advantage that Liverpool and Leicester have because a good team wins regardless and under TT that's what we have been doing.

Yes though those away wins have been without a crowd and that might change things though also might be as teams attack as more.

I think we will win today.

Probably. Don’t even want to look at which useless c**t we’ve got today.

You should be eating celery and nothing else!

Nervous, excited, confident, and bricking it

I'm all 4 of those!  Villa have nothing to play for so they may just say f**k it, and go for it.  I think Spurs could nick a draw which would qualify us, even with defeat.

Lets hope somehow, Palace can be Liverpools banana skin again

Need to start this game like we ended the last one, fighting for everything. If we don't win this, we could be in for a miserable end to the season, losing out on everything we worked so hard for.

While it's more logical that this match has just a single goal or so, somehow I feel like it's not going to be a tight game but a game with many goals...

It’s strange how to narrative has changed throughout the week. The media were saying that we were “one foot in the CL” after tuesdays result...and now, it’s “Chelsea will struggle and have the hardest game”.

Its weird isnt it, bbc radio 5 now just had Dion Dublin and some Irish f**kwit claiming we are in trouble and it will affect our players more because we need to get a result more than the other 2 teams.....erm, were 3rd and all 3 need a result you f**king bellend.

Werner v Mings, a red card is looking good.

Don’t worry, I’m sure the ref will give a foul against Werner and VAR will be on a tea break.

I know, my wife told me yesterday that she was sorry that we were not going to qualify for the CL next season. When I told her that we were third and just depending on our own result she was surprised to hear that, and she assumed we were out because she had heard on the radio all about Leicester and Liverpool and how they were almost guaranteed a place in the CL!

Ridiculously nervous, definitely excited, not a bit confident, totally bricking it.

Glad we don't have to rely on someone else, but getting panicky about our repeated failures against the 'lesser' sides under TT. Especially our woeful finishing.

VAR will be watching that Pool match and give judgments to our game depending on how Pool play today.

At least I hope it doesn't go that way

What about agent Terry and his influence 😜

Werner is going to score in the 26th minute, and JT will be so touched by this homage to his squad number, he's going to position Villa's defense all wrong. Goalfest!

Werner gets so confident by his non offside goal, he'll score a hattrick in our 6-0 rout of City next week!

So 1-1 today :smack_head:
