November 20, 20214 yr Zidance seems to be the favourite to take over. Not sure what I think about him as a manager. He did win those 3 CL, which was a great achievement, but he never really came across to me as being the one behind it all. Real were so strong at the time, I'm pretty sure Steve Bruce could have won at least one of those.

His status gives players the belief and respect but the bounce he'll bring will be very dangerous for us next week.

November 20, 20214 yr Arsenal is disgustingly terrible. You could at least have enough pride to keep the game tight and fight hard. Not this passing at the back bullsh*t for no reason.
November 20, 20214 yr Arsenal are sh*t. Even Leicester put up more of a figh5 today. I wish the went down, useless

November 20, 20214 yr I find it funny when articles about Ole mention how his team are “12 points adrift of league leaders Chelsea”….like they ever had any chance of being anywhere near the title. Makes me laugh every time. Should read “8 points above relegation”. Joke of a manager and joke of a team. f**k them all

I think that comparison isn't fair on many levels. I mean Zidane's status from his days as a player is far bigger than OGS. But Zidane also proved himself as a top manager, what he did for Real Madrid can't be seen as a fluke or as a result of being at the right place at the right time, let's face it for any manager that job in Madrid is never a perfect one there is always some drama and a more crazy environment and even their fans are known for not caring about anyone, not even their own legends get much credit to spend once things don't look good. Winning the domestic La Liga and the CL multiple times is not something to underrate and no amount of money is a guarantee to win you those things in such a small time frame. Zidane had a 66% win rate in over 260 games, that's a sign of a stable manager, Solskjaer has just about 54%, an average manager by all means and consider that Man United in the previous 3 seasons, not counting the current one, managed to get 37 penalties in the league in their favor, the most out of all teams (second place is Leicester with 26 penalties won). I'm sure that OGS will never win a domestic league such as La Liga or the PL... Doesn't matter the amount of money you give him or whatever, give him the best Spanish/Barcelona generation that Pep had and he maybe then wins a little bit due to the players themselves just like Ronaldo saved him from getting sacked earlier, but he would still not be close to having a 72% win rate and 14 trophies.

I agree 100%, I shouldn't have compared them like that
November 21, 20214 yr Sucks for us, looks like we will be playing against a rejuvenated United next weekend under a real Manager, and not Harry Mcguire to give us a hand. It's hilarious, Harry did the shut up your critics celebration against some pub team during the week, then got done on the weekend. Losing to Watford is one thing, but by that score it's something else, the players have given up.

November 21, 20214 yr Author Heartbreaking stuff. Interesting that they're looking to appoint an interim until the end of the season. I wonder who they have in mind long-term...
