We would frustrate the ever-loving bejesus out of them and then they would start doing stupid frustrated things and would be one of those ties where they finish one of the matches with 9 players.

November 25, 20214 yr And so it begins. Again. A few months back the RedCafe and Twitter army of United fans was in full force saying that they will challenge for the league this season and have a shot at UCL, that they have a squad on par with Bayern and City, that nobody is going to stop them now that Ronaldo is back, yadda yadda yadda. Now they are back at it again like they've just hired world's best manager and he will simply transform them overnight and impose his philosophy in a few weeks, with no pre season, during the congested festive period. Yeah, right, football is that simple... And good luck in playing heavy metal football with Harry Maguire, Wan Bissaka, Fred, McTominay, Rashford and the pressing machines and workrate monsters Fernandes and Ronaldo. Ha ha. It has been so many years since SAF left and United fans are like this everytime they make a managerial appointment and a transfer. They could transfer Bilbo Baggins and they would still paint him as the next big thing, thinking "they are back", just to be out of the title race come mid October. They truly have taken RAWK's place as the most delusional fan base.
November 25, 20214 yr Gegenpressing isn't in this United side's toolkit. Honestly can't remember much about Rangnick's side, so ve shall zee.

Rangnick being touted as Klopp and Tuchel's mentor probably makes United fans think he will turn them into world beaters by Boxing Day. For me personally he is more Sarri than Klopp/Tuchel. His last managerial job was at Leipzig 2018/19 and he finished 3rd, had a solid campaign, but as a betting man I remember perfectly that campaign and Leipzig was nowhere near as United fans think they will be under Rangnick. If they are expecting 80% possession and 90 minutes of constant pressing, well they will be in for a major shock. That Leipzig team was more of a counter attacking team with an average possession around 40-45%, even against lesser sides and not a lot shots of goal either. Nagelsmann's Leipzig was way more attacking minded and way more entertaining.

November 25, 20214 yr Comedy gold. The giants of European football NS Mura (who the f**k are them?) beat Spuds with the last kick of the match. Edited November 25, 20214 yr by charierre
November 25, 20214 yr I had no clue who they even were. I had to look them up - turns out they're a small team from North London. 👿 What an utter disgrace Arsenal and Spurs have been for London in Europe. If it weren't for Chelsea the whole city would be a laughing stock, instead of just most of it.

November 26, 20214 yr Well if Conte did not know it was a big job before, he does now. Levy also needs to do a better job of recruitment than he has done in recent years. He needs to look for workhorses with quality that can improve, like he found in Son. If he had signed Baka and Drinkwater I swear they would still be involved despite them being sh*t because they cost big money.
November 26, 20214 yr Spurs living up to their reputation as a banter club. Still shaking my head as to why Conte decided to join them when there's better clubs out there for his calibre.
November 26, 20214 yr I hope Conte has a nightmare window like he did with us when he brought in all that dross. Tottenham are already 700m in debt, hope he cripples them. Some of the waste men he brought in for us are still hanging about the place for crying out Loud.
November 26, 20214 yr As I predicted early this season, United is by far the most interesting team to analyze. Now they are going to appoint ragnick, a klopp/nagelsman type manager who want to press all the time.
November 26, 20214 yr I didn't even know the Conference League was on yesterday. Spuds continue to embarass themselves
November 26, 20214 yr Remember when they said Dele Alli was going to be the new Lampard and we all laughed?.........well I'm still laughing. Lampard was getting better in his mid 20's, Dele Alli just gets worse 😆
November 26, 20214 yr Quote Ralf Rangnick’s training ground revolution could see a custom-made clock installed at Manchester United’s Carrington complex to drive the significant changes that are anticipated from the new interim manager. The German manager is expected to focus on the transition to a high-intensity pressing game and has already been given access to past training sessions so he can study in-depth players at work. Rangnfick discussed the purpose of the clock at Leipzig in an interview with the German television station DW’s Kickoff! show when he said: “We’ve had a countdown clock custom made for us. The assistant coach activates it and it starts ticking. We use it for a game called the ‘Eight Second Rule’. “The players can hear the ticking and know they have to get the ball back within eight seconds or if they have possession, they need to take a shot on goal within 10 seconds. The ticking can be irritating for them at first but what we’ve noticed is this type of training can affect players within weeks. They adjust their style of play and it becomes an instinct.” he might need to lower his expectations and start with 28 seconds i'm a bit disappointed that United made a sensible appointment, i would have preferred Giggsy or even Poch, i actually think this guy could improve united so they might challenge for 4th place with a gap between the other 3 superior teams Edited November 26, 20214 yr by azpi28
